It's the next day and you are up and ready to go to work. You think about having to see Lando again after last nights conversation, little does he know you cried yourself to sleep not knowing what to do.
As you make your way through you see Zak waiting. "Ahh just the woman I'm looking for, good morning y/n. So today I thought it would be a good idea for you to spend the day with Lando. Just to get used to being around one another" your heart sinks hearing you'll be spending the day with him, did you really need this after yesterday.
"Morning Zak, of course that is fine. Where is he?" You reply trying to fake a smile.
He points over to Lando as you turn to see where his pointing. You look over and see Lando without a top on, you become a bit too stunned to speak. You say goodbye to Zak and make your way over to Lando, nervous as anything to see him again.
"Y/n hi, umm sorry about today, Zak told me this morning" he gives you a sympathetic smile.
"It's no worries, like he said we will be seeing a lot more of each other" you give him a half smile, you can't help but look down and see his body you blush a little before looking back up to him.
He smiles a little, catching you looking him up and down "give me one minute whilst I get a top on" you nod at him indicating that is fine.
"Let's go grab some coffee, if you would like?" He says arriving back over to you. You look over at him and nod agreeing to go.
You and Lando head on upstairs, you sit down on a stool as he makes both of you a coffee. He brings them over and sits opposite you, you thank him for your coffee giving him a sweet smile. "So how was your night?" He says while taking a sip out of his cup. "It was okay couldn't really sleep much, how about yourself" you reply.
He nods "same here, I don't think I slept until 4am" you look at him a little shocked.
"Yea me too. I've always struggled sleeping, especially in places unknown to me" you look down at your cup placing your finger around the rim.
Lando giggles to himself before saying "do you remember the first time we ever went on vacation?" You laugh back knowing exactly what his talking about "of course I do, I remember you having to stay awake with me for hours trying anything and everything possible to make me fall asleep. Which only resulted in us doing an all nighter and eating ice cream and cake, watching the sun rise" you say laughing at the memory, it was sweet probably one of your most treasured memories with Lando...
