Chapter 11 : Breaking News

Today I am going to the school so I can have a tour. Liam is driving me there.

*In the car*

"Hey Liam?" I said.

"What is it?" he said in his adorably cute British accent.

"Do you have to wear that hoodie and sunglasses everywhere in public so people don't recognize you?" I asked.

"You are exactly right Alex." he said. " If I didn't, paparazzi would be all over us."

"Scary." I said.

"Uh huh. Well we are at the school now so have a nice time." Liam said.

"Okay Bye Liam! See you at three!" I said while getting out of the car.

The school is about a five minute drive from where we live.

I opened the door to the school and went straight to the office.

When I walked in there were three desks labeled, Principal Patterson, Secretary Monica, and Secretary John.

I look to my left and there was a beautiful looking young lady with black long hair in a braid, and a white jacket and black skirt up to her knees.

"Hello there darling." she said while walking over to me. "My name is Monica and I am one of the secretary's here at Wolverhampton High School, WHS for short. I will be showing you around the school today. Follow me."

I did as she said and followed her.

"Okay Alexandra.."

"You can call me Alex." I interrupted.

"Okay Alex. Uh here is the foyer. And over there ahead of us is the gym, where we hold physical education and special assembly's." she said.

We continued to tour the school and then we reached my locker.

"Well dear this is your locker. You are in between two girls', Mikayla Shay and Rebecca Rain."

Mikayla Shay!?!? That is Louis' girlfriend. Well that should be fun.

After an hour if touring it was finally three. Liam would be waiting outside for me.

"Okay well Alex. Looks like it is three. Time for yo to go. Do you have a parent or guardian outside waiting for you?" She asked.

"He should be waiting." I said.

"Good. Well see you tomorrow Alex honey." she said kindly.

"You too Monica!" I said.

I walked out the door and saw the car and then saw Liam running too me.

"What the heck Liam?! What's wrong?!" I asked.

"I don't have time to explain just hurry into the car." he said.

I got into the car worried and then Liam stepped on the pedal and we started going super fast.

We were going 30mph in a 15mph zone. Surprised we didn't get pulled over.

We arrived home and Liam literally pushed me into the door and in the house.

When we both got in the house Liam slammed the door behind me and locked it.

"What is going on guys!?" I said, desperate for an answer.

"Just please sit down." Liam said.

I went to the couch and sat down.

Liam grabbed the remote and turned on the television and put on channel fifteen.

[Breaking News! Local prisoner Robert Fay has escaped prison. Fay is the father of 17 year old Alexandra Fay, or Alex. Robert Fay is charged with a first-degree murder and is guilty of murdering his own wife, Amanda Fay. Fay was also seen abusing Alex on Redwood Street. Alex was found unconscious for nearly a month. After that it was silent.

I finally broke the silence when I broke down in tears.

"Oh no Alex. Come here." Liam said while bringing me into a hug.

"It's okay, we will protect you." he said.

"I know.... it's just... just... seeing pictures of my mom and.... it's just.... just....." I said while crying really hard.

"It's okay." Liam said.

"Where are the others?" I asked.

"Well we had an interview today but when we saw the news, we knew someone had to stay home."

"Okay..." I said.

"Want something to eat?" he asked.

"Can I have some tea?" I asked.

"Of course you can. And remember Alex, I love you."
