Alex POV

Today's the day of Liam's funeral. We are holding it at the church I use to go to as a child.

My neck and my leg have healed but my arm is still broken.

Harry's burns are still noticeable but he is able to walk and talk.

Right at this moment, Harry is helping me shop for a black dress for later today.

"I think this one will look good on you!" Harry says handing me a small strapless black dress with a silver belt to go with it.

I smile taking it out of his hands, "Looks perfect. I'll go try it on."

I make my way to the dressing room and struggle to get my dress on with my cast.

"Harry!" I call.

"What's up?" He asks for outside the door.

"I need help getting it on!" I say.

I hear him laugh then he sneaks into my dressing room.

Harry helps me squeeze into the dress and then zip it up.

I turn around  and when Harry sees me, his jaw drops to the ground. "Wow...that's beautiful."

"Thank you!" I say then get on my tip toes and peck his lips. "Let's buy this dress then find a handsome suit for you."

He smiles then helps me take off the dress.

        **************************

I walk into the church with Niall, Zayn, and Louis behind me and Harry holding my free hand.

"Hello darlings!" Liam's mother greets us.

"Hello Mrs. Payne." I say back.

"Oh honey you can call me Karen." She says nicely.

"Karen." I nod.

She then walks towards the boys and greets them with hugs. "There are five spots up front for you guys."

"Thank you Karen." Harry thanks sincerely.

We walk up front and sit down. The funeral will officially start in five minutes and I was selected to give a speech during it.

I cuddle up next to Harry while he rests his hand around my shoulder.

We see a lady walk up to the piano and she sits down, fixes her dress and begins to play.

I sit up and so does Harry.

The casket is brought up to the front of the church and places right in front of us five.

We sit there listening to the mass and then it's my turn to speak.

I stand up and make my way to the podium next to his casket.

I take a deep breath and then begin, "I remember the first time I met Liam. I was in a hospital bed. A-and Liam was always the person to help you cheer up when you were sad or angry. He always made me happy. He was the first love of my life. I don't know how God make such a wonderful, brilliant, intelligent, thoughtful, caring person." A few tears started to leave my eyes. "A-and while I'm up here, I never got a chance to go to my mothers funeral. So I just want to say goodbye and thank you to her to."

"I'm thankful for the four guys sitting in front of me right now. They helped me through a lot in there past two weeks. And before I go, I just want to say, the minute you think of giving up, think of the reason you held on for so long."
