Chapter 16: Again

I walk into school the next day hugging my books and looking out for Mikayla and Rebecca. I don't know if Louis said anything to Mikayla.

I walk to my locker and just as I was about to open it, I got slammed into it and my books fell to the ground with a loud "thwomp!"

I turn around a come face to face with Mikayla's other "boyfriend."

"Why?!?" He yelled into my face.

"Why what?" I said quietly trying to back up but my locker stopping me from doing so.

"You told Louis! And now Mikayla is at home in her room balling her eyes out!! You gunna regret that you little piece of----"

He was cut off by Mr. Walter, my biology teacher interrupts him.

"Nathan. Please back away from Alex. She needs her space." He says and then walks away.

"You're lucky! Watch your back Alex!" He threatens me and then walks away.

I pick up my books and head to first hour.

Four boring hours later, it was finally lunch. I still had no friends so I sat a the table that was in the corner and empty.

A couple minutes of eating I see a girl with long black hair and bangs that cover her eyebrows walk up to me.

She sets her bag on the table and sits down.

I finish swallowing my bite of ravioli and say, "Hello?"

"Hi!" She practically yells in my face. "You looked lonely over here my yourself! Oh um my name is Bethie!And you are..."

"I'm Alex." I say quietly not looking up into her eyes.

"Aw there is no need to be shy silly!" she says loudly and taps my nose.

After lunch me and Bethie go to our classes. She seems like a nice girl. Not one like Rebecca or Mikayla.

As I'm walking to my fifth hour class, English, I suddenly am tripped and my books go flying everywhere.

I frantically get back to my feet and see who tripped me. Rebecca Rain.

"Sorry! You were taking taking up room in the hallway!" She laughs evilly then walks away, her heels making clicks against the floor and echoes throughout the hallway.

I grab my books and head to English.

Throughout the day I am bullied by Rebecca and Nathan. I'm getting pushed around and called names.

The day is finally over and I grab my bag from my locker and head to the parking lot where Liam should be waiting for me.

I hop in the car and I must have been crying because Liam asks me, "Are you alright? Your eyes are red and puffy."

"I--I'm alright. Can we go home?" I ask rubbing my eyes with my sleeve.

"Where did those stains come from?" He asks as he notices the grass and dirt stains on my sleeve.

"I--I must have fell. Can you stop asking questions and drive?!" I accidentally shout at him.

He listens to me and starts the car and drives home.

When I get home I immediately run to my room and lock the door.

I fall onto the bed and begin to ball my eyes out.

I can't believe this is happening again!!!!

As I'm lying there, I remember what happened to me back in eighth grade.

When I was thirteen, I went through a state of depression and was suicidal. I was called horrid names and bullied to the limit. I never attempted suicide, instead my mother got me transferred to a new school, Doncaster.

I finally got over all the bullying and was becoming myself again. What really helped me was Kassy. She helped my get away from what happened to me in the past.

I don't have anyone right now that was as good as a friend as she was. Right now, I feel myself drifting into depression again.

It's happening again....
