Mirko worked fast

Mina liked that, she was currently acid skating behind the rabbit hero, keeping up decently well

Day one was rough for the pink teen as Mirko's hops had been WAY faster then she anticipated going into the workstudy. But 2 days later with very little brakes, Mina was sliding her way to top speeds with ease

" Your catching this one Pinky! Get infront of me and remember what I told you when you got here"

Mina smiled brightly and used all her leg muscles to skate faster. She pumped her arms and got infront of Mirko

The villian was in her sights. It was a city street chase except only the bad guy had a car

The traffic was light but civillian cars were still slowing the robber down. Mina got to her maximum speed, going fast enough to make her eyes water, then leaned back a bit with one foot farther back so she could slide

The car was close range now and Pinky made her hands into a nozzel so her acid would fire directly at the car

She aimed at the tires which caused the car to spin out. With Mirko right behind her she thought back to what Mirko said

'Youre taught that the safty of victims and bystanders comes first correct?'

'Yeah'

'Well scratch that! Thats a one way ticket to letting the villian run free. I don't work the same way as UA, villians come first now'

Mina rushed to the front of the car, melted the window so she could open the door. The bad guy was trying to get into the back but failed as Mina yanked on his arms and cuffed him behind the back

Mirko was opening the trunk to let the two mutant children out

Cops arrived as Mina was pulling the kidnapper out of the vehicle

"Thank you young hero" they said "you did good work. And Thank you too Mirko!"

Mirko saluted at them then called Mina over to assist with calming the kids until more police and medics could arrive

The younger of the two children was sobbing in Mirko's arms while the other was wrapped around the pro's leg

Mina stood beside the rabbit hero with a sad look on her face. These girls were mutants like herself, both of them with lizard like features and an odd skin that mimicked scales in some places.

She couldn't help but see herself

The older girl, probably around the age of 8, looked up at Mina and smiled

"Thank you" she mumbled and shifted her weight off of Mirko and to Mina instead, her arms wrapping around the teens hips

More sirens were heard getting closer

The children tensed up but were calmed again by the heros who saved them

An ambulance arrived first with cops on their tail. The paramedics rushed out tried to examine the children. The toddler was once again crying and the other child refused to let go of Mina

"We are only trying to care for your injuries" one said to the 8 year old. Mina had a sad smile as she rubbed the kids back "I promise you these guys won't hurt you, they're good" she whispered

Ecentually the two girls both got taken care of, their wrists were bandaged and heads examined. A cop car even came with their parents

"Alright, we have to go Pinky" Mirko said
