chapter 3

Richie's POV:

"Take everything but the delicious deals guys, my mom loves them" Eddie said as we looked into Eddie's pantry. "hey, first you said the barrens and now your'e saying the sewers. I mean what id we get caught?

"we won't Eds, the sewers are p-p-public works we are the public aren't we?" bill replied as I kept looking in the pantry.

"hey Eds? are these your birth control pills?" I asked as I pointed to all the tiny pill bottles in a cabinet."yeah and i'm saving them for your sister. this is private stuff!" he said as I chuckled. 

we were walking towards the door as I heard the most beautiful voice ever.Eddie's mom. "Eddie bear, where are you boys off to in such a rush?"

Y/N POV:

 When I got to the sewers I saw the boys going into the entrance of one.

"that's poison ivy, and that's poison iv-"

"HI GUYS!" I yelled as I ran past the entrance of the sewers running in the river. but then walking back to seeing their still terrified face.

"sorry, uh I should go uhm home?" I said as I walked back to my bike. "hey no its a-a-alright. we just d-d-didn't see you." Bill said "okay then I guess I'll stay." I said as I saw Bill walking in the dirty water followed by Richie. as the dumbass I am I followed. " Aren't you guys coming in?" Richie asked "uh uh that's gray water." Eddie said "what the hell is grey water?" "its basically piss and shit. so i'm just telling you, you guys are splashing around in millions of gallons of derry pee." 

"okay that's a little ew. but whatever, I'm not going to drink it anyway" I said as Richie grabbed a stick from the water and smelled it "wha what are you doi-" Richie cut Eddie off by saying"doesn't smell like caca to me señor, does it to you m'lady?" "uh no it doesn't" "see Eddie i'm not going to get sick." Richie said. "Guys!" Bill yelled as we turned around and saw him holding a shoe. "shit. don't tell me that's." stanley started. "no, G-Georgie wore galoshes" "who's sneaker is it?" Eddie asked as bill shined the flashlight into the shoe"it's Betty ripsom's." richie said. "Shit, Oh God, shit, I don't like this" Eddie started panicking "hey, its okay Eddie. nothing is going to happe-" I got cut off by a splash.

  "What the fuck happened to you?!" Richie yelled as we saw the new kid bleeding in the river. "Richie!" "yes sweet cheeks?" he replied. "never mind rich, never mind". I said

we got to the nearest pharmacy and sat the kid on a wood bench in the alley, as Eddie kept rambling about Aids. "HOW DO YOU AMPUTATE A WAIST?!" Eddie yelled. "Shut up Eddie." I said. "o-okay. Richie, y/n, stay here" bill said as him, Eddie, and Stanley ran to the pharmacy. "glad I got to meet you before you died". "Richie! he's not going to die" I said "Hi! im y/n and that's Richie the best boy friend in the world" I smiled with sarcasm as I remember what I said I saw Richie with wide eyes but then turning into a smirk. "don't get too flattered Tozier, I meant guy friend" I shrugged as I sat on the ground in a ball thinking about what I said earlier. I don't love Richie. I can't love him.

as I started panicking.NO. I only loved one person. my brother. I never liked my parents.only my brother. no. I can't love Richie because now everyone I fucking love leaves my damn life. I started tearing up as I saw Richie talking to ben kind of ignoring me. as a tear slipped I saw as Richie came closer to me "hey are you okay?" he asked. I nodded in response as another tear fell from my eye. all of a sudden I felt arms wrap around my waist, and Richie put my head on his shoulder. "whatever is going on its okay , im here" he said as I started sobbing more. no. I can't like him. im afraid. I don't want to be afraid. but I just can't help it. I miss my brother.

Then I heard someone clear their throat. I saw Stanley, Bill, and Eddie standing there watching us awkwardly. I pulled away from the hug and stood up. Richie did the same.

"uh- guys I have to - go - home-bye" I said in between sniffs. as I went towards my bike and started riding home. When I got home I heard my mom yell "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN Y/N?!" "I was with my friends why-?I was cut off by a sharp pain on my cheek as my mom kicked me to the floor."go to your room!" she yelled as she sounded drunk.i got up and went up to my room and locked my door. then I started crying on my bed.

I heard taping on my window. I went up to it looked down and saw Richie. I opened my window and whisper yelled "Richie! what are you doing here ?!" "I just wanted to make sure you were okay, can I come in?" "uhm sure, but how im in the second floor you dumbass".

"I'll climb."

"you- wha?"

"you heard me now watch out im coming up" (that sounds a lil weird😰😰 anyway) he said as I moved away from the window. about 2 minutes later I saw his hand on the window frame and then his other hand as he came up. "hi" he said as he looked at my red poofy eyes. he opened his arms gesturing me to come to him. I basically walked into his chest and he hugged me tight. as he hugged me I felt his lips press on my head and I started panicking again. I stopped breathing normally and my breathing was rushed. "hey , hey , its okay breathe with me " he said as we breathed in and out together about 5 times. "you okay now?" he asked I nodded. he then brought up something I didn't notice.

"What's that red mark on your cheek?"

"r-red mark?"

"yeah look" he said as he brought me to my mirror. I saw a red hand mark on my cheek I touched it and then I turned to him and said "my-my mom." "im sorry y/n/n ( your nickname) can I stay with you tonight?"

"uh, yeah sure but you'll sleep on the floor, cause if my mom unlocks my door I'll be in trouble" I said while lifting up my sweatpants sleeve that covered a purple bruise. my mom is never like this. only when she Is drunk.

"okay that's fine"

"okay " I said as I grabbed some blankets and pillows and handed them to him. I tuned my tv on and sat on my bed watching whatever was on. I switched Chanels until I found something I liked. then I heard Richie say " can I go up there with you until we go to bed?" "sure come on" I said as he got up and plopped on the bed next to me on his face making me giggle. I yawned and went on a comfortable position which was right next to Richies face.  I wanted to panic but I tried my best to keep it in. He then scoot closer to me and I still had my eyes glued to the tv screen.he was laying down next to me when I decided to do a weird move. I came closer to his chest and put my head on his chest. 

"is this okay rich?"

"yeah pretty girl, it's alright" I started breathing a little more heavy and tried to control it. 

"is this okay?" he said as he took his hand and wrapped it around my waist.

"Yea that-thats fine rich"

my eyelids started closing until they did but before I decided to fake it a bit. but I have to remember he doesn't love me and if he does he will eventually leave me.

Richie's POV

y/n fell asleep on my chest I could never be more happy than how happy i'm feeling right now. I think i'm starting to catch feelings for y/n she is really pretty and sweet but she doesn't like me back she gets distant when im around her I don't know why but I think I love her even though I met her not too long ago..

when she fell asleep I Brough her closer and kissed the top of her head and fell asleep hugging the best girl.
