Nicolas POV:

''Ugh.. That rail gun took a lot out of me..'' I mumble, looking down at my feet. I'm in the nurses room currently, and I go to get bandages. I'm sitting in there for a good minute, till I hear footsteps coming towards the entrance of the nurses room. I take the ice pack I had off my face, and I look confused. But then, Valerie comes in. Please don't be with Julia..

''Hey Valerie.'' I say, smiling awkwardly. Valerie sits down next to me. ''Hi uhh..'' Valerie is struggling with my name.. again. ''Nicolas?'' I say, awkwardly. The reason why I'm being so awkward is that I have a slight crush on her.. But never mind that. ''Right.'' Valerie says, while snapping her fingers. ''Anyway, what are you doing here?'' I ask. ''Just a break from class.'' I was supposed to meet up with Julia, but I can't find her.'' Valerie responds. Thank goodness Valerie didn't bring her here.. ''Well, what are you doing in here? You look beat up.'' Valerie says. I'm gonna act like she wasn't trying to be kinda rude.. It's usually what she does. ''Huh?'' I respond with. ''Oh, my rail gun exploded.'' I say, pointing it directly to her face. ''Oh, sorry..'' I say, moving the railgun away. ''What are you gonna do with that?'' Valerie asks. ''Well, just destroy the Disassembly Drones.'' I respond with, smiling. ''Yeah, right.'' Someone walks in, it's Julia. ''Aww, Nicolas wants to save the world? Hah, not like he can.'' Julia straight up laughs in my face. ''Valerie, what are you doing with this nerd? Lets go.'' Julia demands, and without hesitation, Valerie leaves. I feel kinda disappointed, that was the first good conversation we had since Julia came into the picture.. kinda. But never mind that, I'm gonna go find parts for my rail gun outside. I stand off, taking off my bandages. I go into my dads room, and pull out the 'DOORS MASTER KEY' he has hanging up in his closet. It's how I can leave the doors. I go through the first door, then when I go through the second, my dad jump scares me- ''OH HOLY BISCUITS-'' I yell, maybe a little too loud.. ''And where might YOU be off to?'' My dad asks. ''Uhh..'' I don't know what excuse to make, my dad will definitely forbid me from going out if I tell him the truth. ''Uhh.. sneaking to make out with my girlfriend I definitely have?'' I respond, nervously. My dad just stares at me, suspicious. ''Biscuits..'' I mumble. ''Fine, I'm going to.. I need to measure.. he exterior hydraulic mechanisms of door one. Because that's.. the project I'm working on for school? A big old door! Just like my old man built!'' I respond, more nervous. My dad looks more suspicious. ''..I wanna join the WFD when I'm older and hang out behind doors and play cards.. yeah.'' I say. ''Well.. We don't just play cards!'' My dad says, proud for some reason. Then the other door opens behind him. ''Hey, Khan? Can you get us a fresh pack? We play so much cards that the numbers are fading. Oh, hey Nicolas!'' One of the Drones say. I wave, smiling awkwardly. My dads expression quickly changes, and closes the door. Then he smiles again. ''Anyways.. Nicolas, this is great news! I'll give you my wrench when I first built a door! AND TO PUT DOWN YOUR MOTHER, WHO GOT STUNG BY THOSE DEVILISH DISASSEMBLY DRONES ACID..'' Dad mumble that last part.. ''Uhh.. cool, I guess..'' I say, walking past him. ''I'm just gonna go, since this worked not how I expected.. Uh, go doors!'' I say, closing the first door behind me, when I'm outside.

I look around, and pick up something glowing that's green. Perfect, this'll work! Before I put it in my railgun, I hear something in the distance.. I hide behind an old car, watching it, to see what is was. It's a Disassembly Drone.. Of course it was. Why didn't I think of that before?? I'm so dead..I accidentally make noise, and the Disassembly Drone turns to where I am, and I quickly get out of sight. I turn back later, seeing it's right up to my face.. The disappear into the sky, then falling down, making me drop the railgun. I do a backflip, then land it. ''Woah.. I didn't know  I could do that.'' I say, amazed. Then the Disassembly Drone stabs me with their tail in the hand.. They throws me aside, and I quickly grab my railgun. I put in the green battery and it shoots a blast at the Disassembly Drone, blowing off their head, and they fall to the ground. ''Holy biscuits! That's way cooler than a backflip!!'' I yell, more amazed. But then the Disassembly Drone gets up, their head regenerating.. Well I'm dead.. I do the only thing I could, I grab a Worker Drones arm that been cut off, run up to the Disassembly Drone, and slap them. But then they turn but on..
