Life is short and therefore should be enjoyed even if it's within a short period.
Today marks her eighteenth birthday yet she's unhappy.
She's been waiting for this precious moments for a long time. Now everything is ruined.
It been three months since she found out about her unknown illness.
Her parents planned to make something unique for her...and of course she's to follow a strict diet.
What's the point in celebrating a birthday without cakes,sweets and soft drinks?
What kind of party is that?
The situation she found herself in was taking the better part of her...she had developed anger issues.
She get upset by the slightest provocation.
"Hmmm...she exhaled staring at herself in the full length mirror".
She looks stunning in that long flawless blue dress. She's grown lean within the past days.
Suddenly, her face turned pale..."You are beautiful just the way you are".
She remembered his words. He was the only one who made her feel special.
He promised to come and she hopes something doesn't pop up to prevent him from coming.
She checked the time and it was pass nine thirty. He promised to be here before nine thirty but it pass that.
I hope he really makes it on time. He can't miss this party..."His presence means a lot to me"...she mumbled.
If she's not getting a birthday cake at least he should be present at the occasion...by her side.
She feels safe and happy with him. She picked up the wrist watch he gave her as a gift...she stared at it as she started dreaming. A smile appeared at the right side of her lips.
She was busy daydream that she didn't hear the door opening.
"What are you giggling about?"
"Oh my... he's here".
She whispered feeling nervous. I guess the butterflies somehow found it way in her stomach.
