Author's note: hello everyone... some context on my disappearance... I do not have exactly the best mental health and it is something I have often struggled with(specially when I still lived in brazil and its myriad of problems), I used these stories as a way to help with that....Well in recent times my studies have kicked high gear and many of other hobbies I had such as tennis, horus heresy and dnd, I had to leave due to time constraints. Writing is something I will fight tooth and nail to (tabletop)keep in my schedule, and is one of the few things helping me, thus in my arrogance I thought I could both write the entire new chapter and study for my test. After both failing to provide the new chapter on Monday as announced and getting my ass kicked in the tests... yeah I felt kind of bad, but it was humbling. But I dusted myself off and here we are. So writing and chapters will decrease significantly, at least until mid October since the choice had to be studied.

Also a little heads up, a few areas of this chapter are a bit rough

Oliver ducked and weaved through the shots. They had terrible aim but sheer numbers made it possible for them to hit him in the first place. The remnants of the hab block of the techpriest provide ample cover for him and his comrades to use. For the tech priest did not spare anything on their quarters, though the main trinkets and tools they had have long been looted, the plasteel walls still held. Oliver and his squad quickly took notice it could quickly be turned to a stronghold. This was shown as he was currently pinned by a stubbers armed heavy weapons 'team'. The mutants were chanting and laughing while they fired. The bare bones corridor of plasteel had 4 former bedrooms all perfectly lined up, each a 3 metres of the others, clearly showing the tech priest loving symmetry. Oliver prepared his plasma gun. He was currently in the uppermost bedroom and looked at the corridor where the 4 men weapons 'team' was. He saw which was going to the target. The horned one with no skin in the face. He was the middle man and was shooting with a laugh. Oliver pressed the trigger before he took aim. He put his weight to the side and then slid across the floor and released the finger from the trigger. The ball of superheated plasma hit home and evaporated the mutant's upper body was gone. The liquidated fire of the plasma fell on the others and they screamed in pain as the plasma ate away into first the dirty robes, then flesh, and bone. Their screams were mercifully short as the las fire from those pinned in the corridors killed them. Oliver got up and dusted himself, he was no longer the scared conscript which shat himself in combat, but now a guard veteran. His face, while still young and pale, did already show the scars of service against the cults of xeno; now he faces the cult of the false prophets.

"Not bad whiteshields, but keep it in mind, this monster killed every single worker here, not only the odd techpriests, the menials who took care and for generations made us did possess electricity, they and their families, their children, were murdered in ways which better not be known. If possible, inflict some retribution on them before you send them damned souls back to whatever blasphemous afterlife they believe in. " Oliver says grimly, his face looking at the whiteshields, they were the second batch of them, 5 of them were under his command. Jael did place his trust on him and he would not fail him. He was clearing the 5 floors as his brothers in arms cleared the other floors.

Another hab block cleared, yet the sound of battle did not get any lower, specially the bolters. Even when he fought shoulder to shoulder with the space marines, the sound of bolter never stopped making him flinch a bit. He looked down from one of the windows as behind him the white shields were taking away the bodies, for soon the lord of the hive would come here. For this was the 5 hab block they bursted today and the 17 hab block during this 8 day siege. These 5 were close to one another(50 metres close), by the catwalk and the bridges between them were around the leman russ sized and... the 'land raider' as the space marines calls the other cables which are even bigger, created kill zones for the guardsmen by it was all connected to a single big bridge and Lord Orion is not willing to spent their lives in such a wasteful manner. He and his marines would breach in a foothold and quickly move on to stem the tide of reinforcement(often castellan Richal being the one body blocking the door if the entrance is small enough) and the guard would clean up the mess. As soon as it was dealt with, the Lethan 10th would take positions and with their multi lasers and autocannons would create killzones to prevent the retaking, by often this hab-block multiple entry points.
