Chapter - 2 The One Where Reel Faded Into Real For A While

GK saw Rajat and SP's messages and flipped her phone. She was too lost to sense anything. She was expecting him, his growing proximity, the warmth of his hands on her and his lips. She let down all her guard and stood there completely accepting and conveying the fact that she needed him.

He was staring at her closed eyes with a blank expression. Those messages switched his mode on. Devil mode. He touched her lower lip with his thumb and applied a gentle pressure on it. The sight of her heaving chest made it impossible for him to pull himself away. But the messages he just saw did not let him give her what he wanted to give, and what she needed from him. He smirked. 'So this is not the real her. Am just another man who she strikes chemistry with. She has kept men waiting for her. Once she is done she will move on. Wont she?!'

His thumb glided along her lip and settled at the corner of her mouth. He stopped there and kept looking at her. She was a feather shivering under the storm that he was. If she was his, he would take her then and there, he thought. 'If she was mine', he whispered.

His inactivity made her impatient. She was about to open her eyes when he kissed her cheeks so hard and bent down to leave a row of kisses along her jawline, rough and hard. His roughness showed her stars. RG let out a moan with closed eyes. She heard him say something but she did not care. She was finding it too hard to stand in his embrace and under his lips. She whispered, 'I need you, GK. please'.

He stopped kissing and looked at her state. She was gone out of the world. He smirked and went close to her right ear and said 'So, why were you being so clingy with Sudhanshu? to grab my attention or it's just that you want this more? How silly of you Rupaliji!'

He said this and sniffed her neck.

She heard it this time. Every word. Because she was too eager and attentive to his breath, she heard and absorbed every damn word he said.

It felt like a stab in her heart. 'What was meant to be the only moment where she gets to be her real self, is a joke to him. He thinks of me as someone who can cling to any man for attention!?' she had no strength to cry out so she pushed him away.

The force was such that he had to take four quick steps backwards to stand on his feet.

With a flaring nose and a smirk he looked at her. With hate concealed in his eyes. The more he is exposed to the fact that someone is more in her life than himself, the more he gets angry and frustrated.

She loathed him. She felt undoing every touch of his. She hated to be craving for his touches, knowing that he thinks she will be okay with anyone touching her.

She was not. She never felt this way with anyone except him and he refused to realise that.

RG- Rajat was so very right!!

GK- really!? <he smirked>

And went near her, she now stood on her feet and pushed him again.

RG- Rajat was right when he said you are playing me. Trying to show off that we have something running between us, just to get attention.

GK lost his cool. Whatever he felt for this woman just a few seconds ago, has now taken the form of dislike. Absolute hate.

GK- good that you realised your Rajat is right! Good night with him. Oh sorry them.

RG- thank you! And same to you!

He stormed out and she weeped out aloud recollecting what he just said. His rude words. after a while, picked herself up, wiped her tears, put up a smile and went back.

On the way back home in the car. GK cursed himself for getting close to her in the first place. He cursed himself for always losing control whenever he was around her. 'Why is she impacting the way I think? And act? How does it matter with who she walks the red carpet with? Why did I get mad at that? Why did I lead her on while dancing? Why did I want to protect her and from what? Why did i kiss her? And why did i hurt her?' he was speeding and Chavvi sitting next to him hooted, 'yay baby! Faster faster!'
