Chapter - 3 The One With The Touches

Precap - Rupali and Gaurav got carried away while shooting for an intense confrontation scene. They completely forgot the script and went ahead confronting each other about their feelings of attractions & repulsions until Kets screamed 'CUT'. Nobody except Kets realised that they weren't just acting out. Rups, unable to see the crowd's eyes, ran to her make up room. Gaurav too went out for some fresh air, away from the crowd. Rajat and Chavvi who had just witnessed the tension between the two, stood perplexed.

Rupali ran to her room, locked herself and broke down. She was hurt yet again because of her inability to avoid him and have him all for herself, the way she desires. She felt her world was falling apart.

Kets followed Rups and knocked on her door.

RG- leave me alone. Please.

Kets - Rups its me! You have to let me in. This is important.

RG- Kets yaar! please not now.

Kets- you have to! You know you are not handling this well. Let me help you. I swear I won't judge you. I completely understand you and please let me be there for you as a friend.

RG did not speak anything

Kets- ok take your time. But I am here, whenever you want. And I think you need someone to confide in. Someone who can help you channelize your thoughts. Whoever you feel comfortable with..

RG opens the door and lets her in

RG hugs Kets the moment she enters and starts sobbing.

Kets lets her cry. Without any questions and without any complaints

Kets- this is a dangerous zone you are in, Rups. I am so sorry that you both got this messed up. You guys had a very beautiful friendship and now... I understand. But am sad. I see what is happening with the both of you. You guys... you both want each other more than you should be wanting eachother.

She said this in one go and looked at RG.

RG stared at her ground with tear streaked cheeks.

Kets kept her hand on her head and sat with her without uttering another word.

Rajat appears.

Both the women looked up at him.

Rajat - woah! What just happened?! And why is she crying? Whatever they performed there - was it in the script? Did you guys write it that way?

RG held her breath and shut her eyes tight.

Kets heart jumped to her throat. She glanced at RG who was in no position to answer and so Kets gave in to her intuition to get aggressive.

Kets snapped back,

Kets - yes! It was fully scripted and she is crying because unlike theatre where actors get to rehearse n number of times, daily soaps do not have that kind of time to rehearse feelings and emotions. Rupali got overwhelmed by Anu's pain of being pushed away by the love of her life, and so she is crying. An actor and a supportive partner like you should know better, Rajat.

Rajat stood shocked by the tone he was being subjected to these days.

Rajat- wait. What? Why are you so touchy? I just asked... forget it. Rups, I want to talk to you.

Kets rolled her eyes and was about to say something when RG took over.

RG wiping her tears asks Kets to leave now and signals her that she will handle.

Kets gets worried but leaves.

Rajat- babe, I dont know, but am feeling something off.

He kneels infront of her and takes her hand in his.
