Today was officially start teaching students at Beacon Academy. Once they arrived, you noticed Glynda watching from the doors to oversee how you do.

"Welcome, class. You've all made it here on time. A very good first impression. Now let's begin."

You activated a projector and showed holograms of Grimm.

"As you all know, the creatures of Grimm have only one thing on their minds: destroy Man and all of their creations. These creatures also sense and seek out negative emotions. The world we live in is a cruel and unforgiving place. That is why you all are here: To become Huntsmen: Defenders of Remnant and the protectors of those who can't fight."

You noticed that the students were either talking, on their scrolls, not paying attention, or sleeping.

"So pay attention, as no matter how boring this class may be, you should pay attention as it will help you learn the difference between life and death when you fight these unholy monsters."

The students heard that sentence and focused their attention on you, allowing you to resume your lecture.

"Now, here's a few things you should know about being Huntsmen:

1) Your semblance. Your greatest weapon and armor. Some of you may not know what it is yet, but with training and dedication, you have a chance to develop it.

2) Adapt to your situation. The Grimm come in all shapes and sizes, and they have they have the potential to evolve. Though you should trust your training, you have to be ready for anything. Use your surroundings to your advantage.

And 3) Teamwork. Though most of you prefer to do things alone, working together will help you go a long way. Teamwork is also important because the Grimm will always come in packs, and they will not always be the same type. You all have four years to learn here. Train, study, and make the best of it. That is what you should value the most as students."

Glynda was impressed with your lecture, and, after class ended, you saw Glynda standing in the hallway.

Glynda: "Professor Y/N, I watched your performance in class, and I must say I'm surprised with how you did. I see how you might qualify as a teacher at Beacon Academy."

"I plan on doing things my way, but that doesn't mean I'm going to look down on how you normally do it."

Glynda: "That is greatly appreciated. Your next class is in an hour. It should be the students that are late for it, not you."

"I know. See you soon, Glynda."
