3rd person pov
"Come on y/n!" Taeri urged. Y/n groaned, "Taeri, you know I have a preform coming up! I need to practice!" she reminded her friend. "Pleaseeeeee? Come on you practice all the time! Just skip once! Jaewoo is a good player you know!" Taeri said, still begging her friend. Y/n sighed and looked at her friend's pleading eyes. "Fine," she said rolling her eyes playfully, "but just this once!!"
Taeri smiled happily and took Y/n's hand. "Let's go!" she said in a cheery voice. Taeri dragged y/n all the way to the gym where the school's basketball team was practicing. Taeri's boyfriend, Jaewoo, was on the team, that's why she was always at their practices and games. Y/n climbed the stairs of the bleachers and sat down next to her bestfriend. She was pretty decent when it came to basketball knowledge, she couldn't play but she knew how the game worked.
Y/n and Taeri watched as the 12 men ran around the court, passing the ball to one another. A tall guy with long hair threw the ball to Taeri's boyfriend Jaewoo. Jaewoo caught it just in time. "Yeah! Go Jaewoo!" Taeri cheered. Jaewoo smiled at his girlfriend before passing the ball to another boy. This boy has silvery blonde hair, he was tall and slender. He moved quick on his feet. The boy quickly caught the ball Jaewoo threw, he aimed himself and managed to throw the ball perfectly into the hoop from halfway across the court.
Y/n was impressed. She leaned into Taeri, "Hey Taeri, who's the guy Jaewoo passed the ball to?" she asked, "You know, the one who just scored?" Taeri raised an eyebrow, "Ohhhh, him? He's the captain of the basketball team, Lee Heeseung." Y/n nodded. Lee Heeseung. Where had she heard that name before? She brushed it off and just watched the game. The boy with the long hair kept on staring at her, he was cute though so she didn't mind.
As the game continued, she remembered where she knew his name from. One of the members of her dance team, Shin Yuna, was telling y/n about how he winked at her. She was genuinely fan-girling over him. Y/n breathed a sigh of relief as Jaewoo and the other boys al ran to the benches, practice was over. Taeri and y/n ran down the stairs. Taeri jumped into Jaewoo's arms. They hugged and Taeri congratulated him for playing so well. After they finished being all lovey dovey, Jaewoo turned to greet, "Hey
y/n! I haven't seen you in ages, I was beginning to think you vanished." Y/n laughed at his odd remark. "Yeah sorry about that, I've been kind of tied up with dance rehearsals." She laughed.Moments later, Heeseung came running up to Jaewoo. Sweat trickled down his arms, highlighting his muscular yet lean physique. He placed a hand on Jaewoo's shoulder, "Good job today, Jaewoo." He said. Then he looked up at the two girls, "Hey Taeri, and who may you be?" He said, pointing to y/n. "Song Y/n," she said, bowing slightly to show respect. Heeseung grinned, "Ahhh the infamous Song Y/n! You're the head of the dance team right? I'm Lee Heeseung, basketball team captain." Heeseung remarked, holding out a hand for Y/n to shake. Y/n took his hand and shook it gently. "You should bring miss y/n to practice more Taeri," Heeseung said.
Y/n was caught off guard by the sudden comment. "And why is that, Mr. Heeseung?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. Heeseung smirked, looking y/n up and down, "I could use a pretty girl like you around." He stated and winked. Y/n unintentionally let put a small laugh. "In your dreams," she mumbled under her breath. She then checked the time on her phone and saw it was 15:30pm. She grabbed her jacket. "I'm gonna head to thd studio, bye Taeri, bye Hyunwoo!" She said. Heeseung gasped, pretending to be hurt. "And what about me?" He asked with a hand on his chest. "Uhh, yeah bye." Y/n said before running out the gym.
