The banquet hall was full of chattering. What the topic? Well, its about jaiden of course the slum boy who got adopted by the duke. He was surrounded by them in hope can have a connection.
"Huh..." you can hear a sigh came from a beautiful young lady who look at the nobles with secretly judge eyes.
That young lady was olive, she feel hurt to be ignore by the other even the royal family. She grit her teeth in jealousy before walk to the empty side of the hall.

Everyone was enjoying the party except our mc, who staring outside in the balcony. She has been thinking what really make original holder of this body do to be forgotten by others.
Then its finally hit her. The original holder was an arrogant person and was always stalk the crown prince. The most far things she had done was make a young lady cry for close to the prince.

I move my gaze to that child. She stare down there frown before return into a smirk. Then i hear she mumbling for a second time.
"To kill me? Heh, they want to kill me so that jaiden can take the heir position.
Hehehe.. funny, i will never let someone took my place except when i don't need it anymore." She mumbled while move her head up to the sky.
"I should really visit that person..."
After she finish, i walked toward jaiden.

When i arrive, jaiden was dancing with the crown prince. He laugh happily before notice me.
"Duke? Your already finish the business?" He ask and i replied with nod.
Tak..tak...tak..
The sound of high heels can be heard from behind me. I turn my head to see my daughter was finally back.
"Olive ar- "
"I want to go home right now, sir." She said cutting me off.
Jaiden was really surprise of the attitude she give to her father.
"If that what you want we can go home right now..." i reply weakly.
She nodded her head in satisfation by the response.
"Allright, i will be waiting in the carriage." She said before walk out of the hall.
I turn my gaze to jaiden.
"We will go home right now." O said with my usual voice (order).

Olive, who is walking to the carriage can see the duchess talking with guard.
'Hmm... is she trying to kill me like an accident?' She tought to herself before she smile.
'The duke will be here surrounding with some pest.'
She ignoring it and enter the carriage waiting the other.
