Eventually 10th grade finally came to an end and 11th grade began, which sucked ass. We finally had the option of mask or no mask, but the homework piled up 10x more for no reason at all and it hit me hard. I also had a really shitty math "teacher," quotations because she sucked at teaching. There were times Matthew had to help me with math so I could better understand it. One time I cleaned my room up, took a shower, and almost felt tempted to bite my tongue for no reason. This wasn't the first time this feeling has occurred, but it has been years since it last occurred. I cried and told my parents, and my mom freaked. She thought I had bipolar disorder, which thinking back, makes no sense whatsoever. Eventually I went to a therapist and was diagnosed with OCD and was given pills to take, Duloxetine.
Matthew was extremely supportive of this as the pills helped regulate my moods. 11th grade really only consisted of taking pills and loads of work and stress. I also started working at Chick-fil-A and convinced Matthew to work there too since he was planning to do a co-op during college, it would get him really good job experience.
When 12th grade hit I decided to take a bunch of blowoff classes. I took both the advanced band and regular band, a parenting class, cooking class, forensics, and painting. The only "real" class I had to take was English. Cooking and Forensics covered for my math credit. Matthew took AP Calculus (Eww)
During School, Matthew and I would go hang out maybe once a week. Usually I'd go to his house and we'd snuggle in the basement after picking out a movie. Sometimes their parents would buy dinner or sometimes his mom would cook. I loved her cooking with a passion. I would have to refrain myself from eating like a pig. She also loved to fatten me up with baked goods. It was the worst when I first started to date Matthew and was given a platter of cookies to take home each time I was over.
It took a bit to figure out what our future plans would be. I despised school and didn't want to do college, which Matthew and his family was all for since college isn't for everyone. So we agreed that Matthew would go to college while I worked to save money for us in the future. I eventually quit working at Chick-fil-A and applied to work with my dad at a parts distribution factory called Autokiniton. I was hired before my interview even started due to my dad being a very liked employee. Matthew and Lance were given great scholarships for Detroit Mercy, so they decided on going there, and were of course accepted.
They plan on getting Masters Degrees for Engineering, which will take 5 years of schooling. Matthew talked to me about getting married after he gets his Bachelors Degree, which will take 4 years of schooling, because to be honest it has been pretty hard not being able to see him much anymore. We are used to seeing each other every day at High School.
Matthew has been very different, for the better. He's grown more emotional and won't stop giving me love. I think this started the end of 10th grade. His compliments have improved as well. Our love still mainly consists of just love, hugs, and kisses because my family rule is no sex until marriage and I feel like following that rule leads to a really healthy relationship.
