Chloe: "Oh my gosh! Finally!"

Honey: "Took you guys long enough"

Mackenzie began to become flustered.

Mackenzie: "Wh-what do you me..mean?"

Chloe: "It's been obvious for a looooooong time"

Honey: "Yeah, I mean you guys are always doing everything together"

Chloe: "All the 'study sessions' and 'movie nights'"

Bluey: "Well, I guess we do hang out often"

Mackenzie: "Are you guys happy now?"

Chloe: "Mackenzie, I don't think you realize how long we've waited for this"

Honey: "Pretty much since the first day of high school"

Mackenzie: "But why do you care so much?"

The girls shrug

Chloe: "It's just what girls do"

Mackenzie: "Ok, just don't tell anyone else. I want me and Blu..I mean Bluey to tell everyone else on our own."

Honey: "Did you see how he called her Blu?"

Chloe: 'I know right"

Mackenzie: "You guys are weird, c'mon Bluey"

Mackenzie walks away with Bluey, after being subjected to the horrors of teenage girls.

As the duo walks towards Mackenzie's car, Bluey begins to laugh, reminiscing the conversation.

Mackenzie: "What's so funny?"

Bluey: "The way you got flustered like that"

Mackenzie: "But it was weird, I was uncomfortable"

Bluey: "If you thought that was weird, that's just the beginning"

Mackenzie: "Anyways let's just not talk about this anymore"

Bluey: "Agreed"

They enter Mackenzie's car, before driving through the Brisbane streets to Bluey's house. As they drive around the hallowed streets of their beloved city, the fair comes into view, the same one they had visited with their friends back when they were freshman. The fair only came around once a year for a week. Admission was expensive, but going to the fair was one of the most fun experiences during the entire year.

Bluey: "Oh look Mackenzie, the fair is in town"

Mackenzie: "Oh really? Let's go"

Bluey: "Hold on Mackenzie, we have to plan this stuff out"

Mackenzie: "Oh right, Friday night at 7:30?"

Bluey: "Wow, your brain works fast"

Mackenzie: "Like they say, border collies are the smartest breed"

Bluey: "Yeah yeah"

Mackenzie: "Anyways is that a yes or no?"

Bluey: "Yes, I'll be there"

Friday

It was an arduous week, but the thought of Friday night kept Mackenzie going. Meanwhile, news began to spread that Mackenzie and Bluey had finally become a couple, casting a spotlight that Mackenzie couldn't stand. First attention due to his injury, and now being wrapped up in even more drama, it was taking a toll on the inconspicuous border collie. But possibly the worst part of it all, the teasing. Once his friends found out, specifically Lucky, he never heard the end of it.
