Backstory: Mayumi is the younger sister of Mahiru Shirota. When their mother died, they were both raised by their uncle, Toru Shirota. Since their uncle was always busy with work, Mahiru and Mayumi had to work together to take care of themselves. When they got to middle school, they became friends with Koyuki, Ryusei, and Sakuya. Once they graduated middle school and moved up to high school, Mahiru became very protective of Mayumi. Mahiru wanted to make sure that no one would use Mayumi and throw her away like trash. If any boy tried to ask Mayumi out, Mahiru would always scare them away. As the school year continued, Mahiru and his sister rescue a black cat off the street, but will this cat change the simple life Mahiru and Mayumi have lived, and how will this change shape their future.
