It's been months, but Shen is still under recovery. He is permanently blind in his left eye, he doesn't really see that as shocking but rather okay with it. Shen even began to develop a new hobby, writing. Soothsayer helps him publish his books, it got small attention but that was enough for Shen. Soothsayer also always finds him either writing or standing looking at the blue sky, he loves to look at the blue sky because he said it gaves him some motivation.
One day, he's still in his recovery... But he's getting better, even his right leg are getting better. He's on the side of the window, like always... Looking at the sky. Soothsayer comes in to give him some food to eat, she looks at him... He seems to have something else in his mind...
"What's wrong, Shen?"
The soothsayer goes beside him and hold his shoulder, curious what the peacock has to say...
"nothing, I'm just... Bored I guess."
Shen sighs and sits on his bed, grabbing the bowl that the soothsayer has given to him.
"Thanks for the food, I appreciate it"
Shen smiles, making the soothsayer remember old memories of him when he was a kid... The soothsayer smiles and couldn't help but caress the peacock's head, the peacock was confused and wanted to question her... But simply couldn't open his mouth...
"Go ahead and eat your food, Shen..."
The soothsayer smiles and walks out of the room, leaving Shen all alone... But Shen listen to her and eats her food at the bed, then he goes out of the room too see soothsayer outside, looking at the skies... He came close to her and looks at the soothsayer with a confused expression.
"Don't stay secretive all the time now, I know you have something in your mind..."
The soothsayer looks at him, with a smirk then turns away
"Maybe one day, I'll explain everything to you. You'll probably have some regrets knowing it, considering it's not really that bright."
The soothsayer walks in with her came, leaving Shen alone outside again, Shen has a confused expression on his face but went along with her words. If she says one day, he had no decision but to went along considering he doesn't really have that much memories in the past.
"I guess one day I'll know then, thanks Nana"
He went back in to his room, and finally falls into a deep sleep.
