(this chapter will be mostly in Tojis pov)
"i'm sick of the nagging you know? I left a bowl on the counter big whoop. you were the one calling me last night when I was eating"
he says.
arms folded staring directly at the woman who stood in front of him."maybe if you didn't need me so bad sexually, I would've cleaned up the bowl no?"
the woman doesn't say anything she crosses her arms in front of her chest and give the man an angry stare."but who came running at that request?"
she says. Toji letting out a tch and sitting down at his desk. he spins his chair around staring out the window it was a beautiful day.but for some reason it didn't feel that way.
toji's mind seem to be drifting off somewhere.
to the events of last night. not the ones he spent with his loving wife.but the one he had spend with y/n.
Tojis thoughts were consumed by the woman who hadn't been his assistant for longer than 3 months.
"Mai told me that Miami went well, any potential buyers?"
his wife says. taking a seat at the chair in front of his desk."I already told you Megumi is talking over"
he says. not turning his chair.
the woman makes a face. annoyed by the fact toji was still on this nonsense."i have nothing against Megumi he's a good kid. but he's not built for this, he barely even comes to the office when asked Toji"
she says.It was true.
Megumi was making no efforts of trying to be the new owner he made it clear that university and medical school was more his thing than running a business that was dropped into his lap."Megumi will take over, he will know this is for the best"
Toji replies. unsure.he didn't know for sure if Megumi would.
it was like betting on a horse that's in a horse race but one of the legs was broken. sighing he turns around his chair.his wife sitting there with her arms still crossed. and an annoyed look on her face. the woman was getting tired of hearing about Megumi and him potentially talking over.
this meant that their marriage would for sure end.
he'd have no links to her or any needs of staying.
that wasn't something she wanted not yet anyways.but no one needed to know that.
"Toji, until he starts coming to this office and showing he's actually interested I won't believe it, nor will i allow him to take over" she says standing up.
Toji making a face.
unimpressed with her words.
it was like this for the past few months, every time.
the nights he spent texting you or talking with you was the only time he could escape the nags of the beautiful bottle blonde woman he shared marriage with."Rebecca, how many times are we going to have this talk? he's my son. when I married you I told you that night before we tied the knot that after 5 years and the company falls into my name fully i'd give the company to Megumi. our marriage would be over"
Toji saying raising his voice."my father left us this company i'd be dammed if I let it go down the drain because your bastard son can't make up his mind"
immediately regretting what she says she gets up.
