"Is it okay for me to stay here until your father comes back? I don't want to leave you here alone." Hyunjin admitted after helping Jisung sit on the couch.
Jisung smiled, "Yeah..." He weakly mumbled.
"Hey, where do you keep the water?" Hyunjin asked, tuning his heels. "Oh uh- Check the fridge," Jisung answered. Hyunjin nodded and made his way toward the fridge before pulling one of the doors open by the handle and grabbing a bottle. He poured it into a glass after he asked Jisung where it was kept. He heated the glass of water in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
"Here, drink some water, okay? I'll go to the convenience store down the street and get you something to eat." Hyunjin said before disappearing
Jisung chugged the water until the glass appeared empty.
He was startled when he heard a familiar voice- His father. "Hello, Jisung, I thought you were at Sakura's witch house? Good thing you aren't- She's a bad influence on you." The man said, emphasizing the word 'bad'. "Dad, she did not permit you to call her Sakura, it's lady and, you never tell me how she's a 'bad influence' on me," Jisung said, air-quoting the words: Bad influence, before crossing his arms, and rolling his eyes with a huff.
"This is the type of influence I am talking about! That little- Lady or whatever you call her is just a helpless girl who's just trying to get money by using those stupid excuses about her family being poor. She's rude to you and you're just blinded by love so you can't see it and you copy her obnoxious way of speech and her rude manners...- She doesn't even have any!" Mr. Han scolded, yelling the last sentence.
"I do not have any feelings for her aside from being her friend! YOU are the rude one here so I don't know what the fuck you are talking about! And if you were in her shoes, you would be bawling your eyes out right now so shut the hell up!" Jisung yelled, making his throat soar. Tears streamed out of his eyes, Covering his mouth after yelling at his father. But he honestly can't disagree that he was very mad at his dad. That man was talking bad about Jisung's best friend who cared for him more than Mr. Han ever did and acted like it was no problem.
Just then, Hyunjin appeared out of thin air with a plastic back in his left hand. He immediately dropped the bag on the floor and rushed over to Jisung before looking at the man whose ears were tinted red, "What happened?" Hyunjin asked Mr. Han.
He rubbed his nose and said, "Jisung will tell you." Before leaving and slamming the door behind him.
"What happened?" The taller softly asked.
Jisung brought his knees up to his chest and turned his head to the side, "I don't want to talk about it." He mumbled. Hyunjin nodded, "Alright, you should rest and we could eat after you wake up, okay?"
Jisung nodded, "Okay..."
For the first time, Jisung and his father had an actual argument. They usually "Argued" about which skittle flavor was the best or, what's the best movie but, today was different...
Really different.
