“Rebekah!” Kristy whisper screamed at me and jabbed me with her pencil.

I sat up and gave her and evil look. “Pay attention you have to pass this test so you make a good grade in this class” she said trying to help me.

I had been at guard until eight o’clock the night before then came home and did a ton of homework. That was all done by nine thirty though which would have been fine but then I had to clean the kitchen and take a shower so it was close to eleven thirty when I got in bed. I had been tired all day and this is fourth block and my math teacher Mr. Lasiter was a very monotone man so I couldn’t help but fall asleep. We had a test the next day and if I didn’t do good I would probably have a d in the class on report cards and my dad would kill me. I got out paper and started taking notes. I was trying my best to pay attention but Tristan, my best guy friend who I had a crush on, was passing me notes and Savanna keep talking to me. Savanna was once my friend but I was slowly starting to hate her because every time I liked a guy she flirted with them and I hated that. She had done it to me twice but not too long ago got mad at me because the guy she likes, Daniel, was talking to me because we had a class together and that sent me into orbit. Daniel was one of those guys who was always making jokes and making people laugh and he loved to mess with me in first block but it wasn’t like I was all over him and texting him like she did with Jacob the guy I used to like and now with Tristan. Dainiel and I did have an odd love hate relationship though. We were mean but we had this thing were we wanted to be around each other and we were mean in a fun, loving way.

When we were passing notes I noticed Tristan was acting funny. he kept mention the girl he liked even when it made no sense to and I knew something was up. See me and Tristan lived across the street from each other for about five years now and we dated in fifth grade but that doesn’t count. He is really sweet most of the time and he can always make me smile. He and Kristy are the only people I trust. I tell them everything and they could read me and I could read them. Tristan had to be blind to not know that I liked him because I made it obvious but I never made a serious move because he had a crush a girl that went to another school. They weren’t dating because her parent wouldn’t let her date but they would be soon. As much as I hated that I let it be and respected it.
