I Didn't See That Coming

I didn’t get to focus for the rest of class. I heard the bell ring and I was shocked. I grabbed all of my stuff and stood up. Kristi came over and stood waiting for me to get my stuff so we could walk outside together and talk. “So did you get the lesson today?” she asked knowing the answer.

I just shook my head no. “You really have to pay attention, but I knew that look you had in class something is on your mind. What’s wrong? Is it Tristan again?” she asked seeing right through me.

“Yea he wouldn’t stop mentioning that damn little kid and I don’t know why he did it but it’s nothing you know I’m trying to get over it but on top of that savanna told all of the freshman guard that I was all over Daniel and she never flirted with anybody I like that I’m making that up. I’m just tired and feed up with people.” I vented as we walked outside to wait on the bus.

“Well I even know she flirted with them and you were not all over Daniel she just can’t handle the fact that he flirts with you all the time and he doesn’t flirt with her, so ignore her. No one likes her anymore anyways.” she said getting a little fired up “ besides he does flirt with you and you know how I told you revenge is bad well I change my mind. Put that bitch in her place.”

I stared at her and launched a little because she was funny when you got her all excited. I knew she was serious though because she was always against taking revenge, but I wasn’t. The first time that savanna started all of this bull shit I had planned on going after Daniel. I didn’t like him like that but he was hot and I was pissed and that would have been the best revenge ever. If I started flirting with him she would be very pissed at me, but Kristi encourage me to attempt to talk it out in hope of mending the friendship. I did that but the talk was more like me screaming at her and getting pissed and her apologizing the whole time, so we still talked some but I dint tell her confidential things or hangout with her all the time like we did before.

“You really think I should start flirting with Daniel?”

“Do it. In fact I’ll be over tonight to pick out your sexy outfit for tomorrow and by Friday wel will have a few people go to the movies and he will be one got it.”

“Whatever you say crazy lady but that’s you bus so I guess bye see you tonight.”

“I’m serious I’ll see you tonight and we are going to put her in her place, but if you talk to her be really nice okay”

"Um okay I will, but"

"But nothing girl", she said cutting me off, “do it okay bye see you later" she said in a very nice but almost scary way as she got on the bus."
