Where is Emmy?

I was alarmed when Uncle Robbins told me that my sister was missing which distracted me so I told Father James about it. I immediately went to our house not far from Geneva.

I got out of the car, I remembered a lot from this house. It's been a few months since I last came home. Still nothing has changed. My childhood is still here.I closed my eyes and saw myself running and playing like a child. The memories of my childhood with my sister Emmy are fresh here.

''Noticing that there is something different about her these past few days. Her mood changes quickly. '' Uncle Robbins said when I sat down in the living room.

The old picture of us is still there. Didn't change. The crack in the wall and the smell of old sunflowers in the vase that I left before I entered the ministry. The dust has eaten the old couch.

My height measurement when I was 12 is still written on the wall of the house. But I noticed that my sister grew up a lot when she was twelve years old.

''Have you informed those in charge of what happened?''

''Yes but so far we have not received any information.''

I went up to the room as Uncle Robbins said, my mom's younger brother. As I opened the door, the hidden silence of my room appeared to me. I woke up from my little nap.
I dreamed again. I saw again the event I was trying to escape. I hear my mother's voice calling for help. It was so loud it was deafening while Emmy was crying next to me. My family was murdered. I saw her clothes bloodshed and my hands full of blood. I don't want Emmy to witness that ugly night.

The poster of my sister Emmy who is missing is scattered all over the town, daring to find and trace her immediately. Someone informed us that she was found at the bakeshop where I always buy my sister her favorite bread. That's where she was last seen and completely disappeared.

I woke up in the middle of the night and heard a bang so I got up and got a flashlight. In this part of Geneva, electricity is the main problem of the residents here. I lit the part I was going to walk after I left the room.

I followed the noise until I came to a room at the end near the kitchen that had not been opened for a long time leading to the basement of the house.

I bravely crawled into the darkness of that dark side. Hopefully the flashlight battery won't die. When I went down the stairs, the empty room and hollowness greeted me.

I saw Emmy that we have been looking for for a long time. I immediately hugged her but muted. Immediately we went upstairs, Uncle Robbins and his wife woke up to what I saw. Morning caught up with us and Emmy was still sitting on my lap.

I don't know what she was doing in the basement. Uncle Robbins decided to permanently close it with a piece of wood and hammering with a nail.

My eyes caught the engraving under Emmy's ear on the left side. I remembered it was the same as what I saw with Walber. What does the symbol engraved on the two of them mean? It didn't calm me down until I have to leave again and had to leave Emmy. I need to see Reverend James because I have errands that we have scheduled at the retreat house.

I am self-assured with my mom's family while I am busy with my profession. I know they understood my work. I feel sorry for my sister she is too young to experience this kind of world.

My fear did not silence me. There are times when I feel like I'm always on the verge of death. But I ask God for guidance and I know he will not abandon me.

I entered the confessional for confession time. But that event was strange and an unexpected visitor appeared. I sat down and waited for him to speak.

''How are you, Father? Won't you confess your sin?'' His voice was strange, there was something in his voice that I couldn't explain. Persuasive.

''What are you saying? Do I know you? We are inside the church, we don't have time for this nonsense.'' I didn't like what he said.

''Don't you remember me Father? About what happened to your family-'' I stood up suddenly and didn't let him finish and opened the other door that was connected to the other chair.

But I didn't see anything. I looked to both sides to see where the speaker was. But it was like wind that appeared.

I went to Walber's house to pick him up. But I noticed that Anthony, the one I met once, was there.

''Father Archie is here.'' Carys said. ''This is Father Burke, ''Let him introduce me to him.''I know you two already know each other.''

''I bumped into him at the church in Geneva.''

''I was thinking of a similar incident I encountered in France. During the war, I was stationed there, near Lyon. I was told to investigate a boy with visions. But, unlike your case, after what I believe was careful evaluation, I made the judgment he was possessed, and proceeded to act accordingly within the laws of the Church.''

Walber came out, stopping our conversation. I looked at him in his eyes. Sharp. It gets in the way. I don't know if Father Burke's suspicions in Walber's case were correct.

''You're ready? I have notified Sister Constance about your arrival.'' I told them.

''Aren't you coming with us to Dominican Hill?''

''I have to go home to see my sister Emmy.''

I know they will be guided with Father Burke. I waited for them to leave that house until their vehicle was out of my sight.

When I came back home, I felt like I wasn't welcome. I inhaled some bad energy before I went down. I felt it when I saw it for the first time as if there was no fear in me. I don't know why. I got off and saw an old woman peeking out the window.

As I step in, I immediately asked Emmy who was with her in the room. I didn't find the right answer. Uncle Robbins entered the door from outside.

''Mom,'' She replied.

I stopped and thought. Is Mom's soul really playing with her?

Uncle Robbins looked very perturbed when he heard what Emma said. I woke up from the scream coming from Emmy's room. I immediately went to her. Found her inside the closet. I took her out.

''She tried to scare me.'' My sister mumble in fear.

This is what I fear most of all. That my trauma might come back. The evil one who wants to disturb the peace of my family.
