Jay's pov.

I woke up feeling weird and funny. Daddy was sitting next to me so i guess it was okay but i got the feeling that i needed to puke so i quickly shook him and ran to the bathroom.

"Mm.. what's wrong?"
"Daddy.. my sto-" I started gagging over the toilet.
"Okay okay i understand baby. It's okay just let your body do its thing. You might be sick from your medicine the doctor has you taking."
"It hurts..!"
"I know i know. It'll be over soon baby."

After i got everything out my system daddy checked my temperature and it said 100 or something like that. But he had to go to school so Papa had to watch me.

Aizawa's pov

Izuku had to go to school so i was in charge of watching JJ. He wasn't really feeling well and he had a temperature of 101.2, so i kept a close eye on him.

"Wanna watch some tv little one?"
"Mhm! My little pony!!"
"Alright, i'll put it on. Here, take your medicine."
"Eww it's grape flavored.."
"If Papa takes some with you will you take it?"
"Yeah!"
"Alright I'll be right back."

I went into the kitchen and got a spoonful of grape juice to pass as the medicine i was supposed to be taking with him.

"Alright you ready?"
"Mhm!"

"There you go! See, it wasn't that bad was it?"
"That's yummy, i want more!"
"Not right now little one, you get more in 4 hours."
"Okay.. Can i have something to eat?"
"Yeah, what do you want?"
"Bacon and eggs.."
"Alright, keep watching your show, i'll make it for you."

I started making his food when all of a sudden the power went out and i heard him quickly walk over to me.

"Huh, that's weird."
"Papa i'm scared.."
"There's nothing to be scared of little one."

I picked him up and carried him to his room, while he was clinging onto me for dear life. I set him down in his closet, where all his sensory and toys were and turned his nightlight on.

"That better?"
"Yeah.. Can you stay p-please?"
"Sure thing buddy."

I sat next to him while he played with his toys before he fell asleep in my lap. I don't know how long we were in there for but i heard keys and the door opening, telling me that Izuku was home.

"Guys? Why are all the lights out?"
"Hey, power went out. Don't know why."
"Oh. Is Jay okay?"
"He's fine. Can you put him in his bed please? I'm gonna go see why the powers out."
"Sure."

I walked out around the backyard to see the generator torn up and messed with, looking completely unfixable. Next to it was a piece of paper reading:

"Watch your back. I'll get Katsuki back."

I quickly did a 360 to make sure nobody was around me and ran back inside.

"Izuku, pack your bags. Don't ask questions just pack. We aren't safe here."
"Wait what? What about Jay? What happened?"
"I'll answer your questions later. Just please- Pack some bags for you and Jay and let me know when your done."
"Okay?"

I ran into my room and pulled out two suitcases from underneath my bed and shoved a bunch of clothes into them. I packed my hygiene items, Jay's sensory stuff, his weighted blanket, money, two blowup mattresses and pillows+blankets.

"I'm done, Jay's still sleep."
"Pick him up and meet me in the van. Put the suitcases in the trunk."
"Okay."

Izuku's pov.

I grabbed Jay quickly and rolled two suitcases and 2 bags out the door. I already knew something was up after he told us to use the van and not the regular car we use. I placed Jay in the seat with a blanket over him and strapped him in. Surprisingly, he stayed asleep.

"Did you put everything in there?"
"Yep, all 4 suitcases and the 2 bags."
"Good. Stay back there with Jay please. I don't know what's gonna happen from now till we get to where we're going."
"Alright."

I buckled my seatbelt in, putting Jay's important stuff next to him and making sure he was comfortable.

time skip- 1 hour

I woke up to a hand squeezing mine for dear life. I looked over to see Jay heavily breathing and looking ahead of him, eyes not moving.

"Baby? You alright?"
"I-izu.. I cant-"

Only Kai calls me Izu, meaning Kai was fronting.

"Kai, what's going on?" I faced them and put my hand over theirs.
"N-nightmare."
"Ah.. I understand. Do you think that you can try breathing with me?"
"Mhm."
"Alright, i want you to take a deep breath in and then a slow breath out okay?"
"O-okay."

After a few tries, They calmed down and weren't panicking anymore. I could see Aizawa's faint smile through the mirror looking back at us before looking back at the road.

"He okay?"
"Yeah."
"Alright, we're almost to where we need to be. Just about 1 hour left."
"You never told me why we needed to leave. Or where we're going."
"I can't say with Kai in the car. It'll trigger them."
"It's that serious..?"
"Yes. Trust me, you'll know when it's time. Keep them occupied, they're fidgeting again."

I turned my focus back to Kai, who was playing with their fingers as tears slowly came into their eyes.

"Hey, wanna watch some tv? I brought my computer."
"S-sure. Can we watch NSIS?"
"Sure. I'll put it on."

I put on NCIS for them and they quickly calmed down. Not long after, we arrived at some weird house, surrounded by a tall gate.

"Where are we-"
"Let's go. Get your things out the truck."

I sighed and grabbed mine and Kai's things, bringing them inside. The inside of the house looked beautiful and it was the cleanest i've ever seen. Mr Aizawa led us to this room connected to a bathroom.

"This is the bedroom, Kai gets the bed and we get the blowup mattresses. As for you Izuku, come with me outside, i need to talk to you."
"Okay."

I walked behind him out of the room till we got to the kitchen and he told me to sit. He gave me a class of water and looked around the corner to make sure Kai wasn't listening.

"You know Mitsuki? Kai's biological mother?"
"Unfortunately."
"She gave me this note earlier today. The generator was completely destroyed."

I read the note and ended up choking on my water.

"So you mean to tell me, that she's trying to get Kai back? After everything she did to them?"
"Yes. If she does end up taking them, it'll be kidnapping because their legally not her kid."
"I hate that woman."
"So do i. For now, all we can do is keep Kai safe. I told some pros already so they are all on alert."
"Okay."

We talked some more about things to do before we heard the loudest scream come from out of the room Kai was in. We ran as fast as humanly possible and when we got in there my heart dropped.

"Kai? Kai!"
"Dad..?"
"God, are you alright?"
"I saw that lady."
"What lady kid?" Mr Aizawa was helping them off the floor.
"The one with the blonde hair. I think... Mitsuki?"
"Shit."

a/n- this was so chaotic but i promise it'll get better we're almost at the end ❤️
