Hold me close tonight, love.
I need you here.
Pull me to your body and kiss my head.
Wrap those arms around me
and bury your face in my hair.
Untangle those sheets and pull them up
and I'll melt into you.
Those shoulders will guard us
from the creatures coming closer
desperately clawing at me
trying to come into my head.
Whisper my name,
press your fingers on my back
and I'll close my eyes
and drift asleep.
Kiss my neck
and murmur you love me
and maybe,
just maybe,
I'll be safe tonight.

Old Poetry and Prose
PoetryThis is very old, mostly unedited writing from several years ago. I had uploaded these on a different account but then I deleted all of it. I am posting them again here.
