KWON HAEUN

Haeun sat next to Gyeong-su, completely worried about Su-hyeok and Cheong-san.

She felt ashamed that they were risking their lives trying to save their friends while her and the others sat around.

Everyone waited for the two boys to come back.

"Su-hyeok." Dae-su and Wu-jin quickly helped Su-hyeok back inside.

"Are you okay?" Dae-su asked.

"Where's the phone?" Hyo-ryeong asked.

"Su-hyeok. Where is Cheong-san?" On-jo slowly turned around.

"We got seperated in the teachers office. I'm sure he'll be fine." Su-hyeok slowly turned around, his face full of shame.

"Are you serious? Oh, shit!" Dae-su looked out the window again.

"I'm sorry...for coming back alone." Su-hyeok looked down.

Gyeong-su and Haeun sat in silence, Haeun hadn't gone up to Su-hyeok.

"Joon-yeong. Didn't you mention that your science club made a drone?" On-jo asked.

"Yeah, you want to look for Cheong-san with it?" Joon-yeong nodded.

"Could we?" On-jo looked hopeful.

"Well, yes, but it's in the science lab." Joon-yeong pointed.

"We can go get it." On-jo assured.

"How would we? It's crawling with zombies out there." Joon-yeong shook his head.

"That." On-jo pointed to the hose rope the guys made earlier.

"You want me to climb up that?" Joon-yeong gulped.

"But there's zombies in the science lab too." Hyo-ryeong said.

"There weren't any in the supply room, right?" On-jo asked.

"That's true, but..." Joon-yeong trailed off.

"We have to find Cheong-san. There's no one else besides us to start looking and rescuing people." On-jo explained.

"I agree, it would be good if we had a drone." Haeun shook her head in agreement.

"But who's going to go?" Hyo-ryeong looked around.

"I wanna go. I took a fire rescue class, and I've climbed ropes before." On-jo said.

"No I'll go." Su-hyeok stood behind On-jo.

This made Haeun's head shoot up.

"You already went out there. You can't keep putting yourself in danger." On-jo shook her head.

"The drone isn't finished yet. We need to find a few more parts to run it." Joon-yeong explained.

"Do you know what to get?" Joon-yeong asked On-jo and Su-hyeok.

"Then I have to go I guess. I'll go with On-jo." Joon-yeong said.

"No, I'm actually going this time so stand back." Dae-su walked towards the window.

"But you can't, the rope won't hold you." Wu-jin said.

"Yeah. It'll snap." Dae-su went back to where he was.

"Joon-yeong, come with me." On-jo and Joon-yeong headed up the rope.

"It's too dangerous, I'll go." Su-hyeok grabbed On-jo's arm.

On-jo looked down at her arm, and so did Su-hyeok.

He slowly let go, unaware that Haeun was watching.

"Thank you..but I don't want you to be put in danger anymore." On-jo shook her head and followed behind Joon-yeong.

Su-hyeok noticed that Haeun seemed to be avoiding him.

He walked up to her, grabbed her arm and dragged her into the recording room.

"Hae, why are you ignoring me?" Su-hyeok let go of her wrist.

"I'm not ignoring you." Haeun scoffed.

"Yes you are, did I do something wrong?" Su-hyeok asked.

"No, you didn't, I just.." Haeun paused.

"You just what?" Su-hyeok looked down at her.

"I'm just mad you keep risking your life for everyone. I don't want to loose you." Haeun looked away from his gaze.

"Hae, I made a promise I wouldn't leave you. You know I wouldn't." Su-hyeok said.

"Haeun, look at me." Su-hyeok softly caressed the girls face with his hands.

Haeun wouldn't look at him tho, she kept her gaze on the floor.

"Haeun.." Su-hyeok whispered, that's when Haeun looked up at him.

Su-hyeok and Haeun's gaze fell from eachothers eyes to lips, before there lips met.

It was perfect, almost like a puzzle piece that seemed to be missing from one another.

Before it got heated, Haeun broke their kiss.

"I'm sorry..I just..I don't want to loose you." One tear fell from the girls eye.

"Hae..you'll never loose me." Su-hyeok whispered before the two left the recording room and On-jo and Joon-yeong were back.
