The Boy Next Door (Harry Styles)

Chapter Seven

"Close your eyes Katie!" We've been in the car for what seemed like four hours. Now, we were finally at the place where Harry was taking me for a surprise.

"They are closed Harry, now where are we?!" All I heard him do was laugh and get out of he car and come to open my door. "Come on follow me but keep your eyes closed!" Why'd he want me to keep my eyes closed? I really wanted to know what the surprise is.

The walk took longer than I thought it would. It seemed like 10 minutes.

"Okay, we're here."

"Oh my god! Harry! The park?" We used to always come to the park when we were younger. It was our place to get away from the world when we wanted to. I haven't been here in so long.

"Katie? Come here." He gestured me to sit next to him on a blanket I hadn't noticed before. He pulled out some strawberries covered in chocolate, my favorite.

"Harry, what's this for?" I could see him start to smile out of the corner of my eye.

"You, of course." This comment made me blush. He never did this for me, I thought we were just going to go out to dinner like we usually did.

After we were done eating the strawberries I laid down to look at the night sky. Everything tonight seemed to perfect to believe. Harry got up and put his hand out in front of me.

"Can I have a dance?"

"Aha, yes you can" we started swaying back and forth to our own rhythm. It went along with the beating of our hearts. Harry was looking down at me just smiling.

"What?" When that came out I giggled.

"Nothing, nothing." He just smiled and started swaying again. It seemed to last forever, which was perfect.

"Seriously Harry, what was tonight for? You've never done anything like that before for me."

"This times different. You mean more to me now." He smiled and his dimples started to show.

"Oh so I mean more to you now?"

"Yes, Katie you do" he pulled me into a hug. Harry really knew how to make me feel special even for a little bit.

"Not to change the subject or anything but what are we going to do now?"

"Well I have one more surprise!" He ran upstairs leaving me in his living room. One more surprise? Tonight already has been perfect to me, what more did it need?

"Close your eyes!" Oh my, really again. I didn't argue and just closed my eyes with a sigh. I felt him stepping closer to me I tried to peek but he just yelled and said to keep them closed.

"Okay you can open them now you cheater!" I started to laugh when I opened my eyes he had a necklace in his hands.

"Harry is this your paper plane necklace?" He used to always wear this ever since the day we met. Then when we started to fight he stopped wearing it.

"Yes it is. And I want you to have it." Why was he giving me it? It was literally like his favorite necklace that he ever wore.

"Are you sure?.." I was hesitant about taking the necklace.

"Yes silly, now take it. I really want you to have it." As he said that he winked and made me turn around so he could put it on.

There was a knock at the door. It was almost 10, who would be coming here so late? Harry went to go get the door with me following beside him. I didn't know who it was when Harry opened the door. Whoever it was, Harry wasn't to happy to be seeing them..
