Yelena's POV:

The sound was faint and addictive.

It was suddenly coming from my right side, then again it changed and started ringing from the left.

The voice sounded that of a frail and harmless girl. She sounded as if she was crying and singing at the same time.

It was filled with pity. The sound was so sweet I didn't notice I started crying and calling out to the girl.

But each time I turned in the black endless space, the sound would rather start to come from the opposite direction. I turned again and now in the black space, I saw light.

A small light source which grew brighter as I got closer. I came to a halt about four metres away from the light.

It was me.

I was sitting on my knees, with my head raised high upwards. I was emotionless and was singing in a frail voice.

No. I swear I never knew how to sing.

"......gone away.....gone away.....there she stands......gone astray...."

Those came in the perfect and smooth notes.

I couldn't understand all the words. I seemed to be singing in different languages I never knew.

Then out of nowhere, black spots started growing on the skin of the 'other' me.

I panicked and rushed towards myself.

Those black spots slowly started growing out. It changed into small black buds. Then those buds grew bigger into these black flowers.

I screamed my lungs out as the flowers started growing bigger and bigger and blood spewed out of my skin.

No, stop. Stop it.

I screamed harder...

************

I woke up in a cold sweat as I found myself in a hospital room. I convinced myself that it was all a bad dream.

A familiar face got clearer as I opened my eyes.

Austin.

He was the last person I wanted to see.

I punched him hard in face and he fell down from the instant blow. I did not wanted to see his stupid face right then and jumped off my bed to find a mirror.

Finding a shower room, I barged in, and entered a unit. I stared at my reflection, making sure that no black spots or black flowers grew on my body.

I sighed in relief and slowly walked back to my hospital room. I took small and slow steps and opened the door as Austin stood with a bruised eye and stared at me with anger.

"...I am sorry okay?..." I slowly said to him.

He looked ready to explode.

I apologized to him and he gave in and let go.

Again, was it that simple? Austin is a difficult man.

I was reminded of my dream and sat down on one end of my hospital bed, deeply in my thoughts. Austin sat down next to me.

"I heard you scream, so I came to check upon you. A bad dream maybe?"

"A really bad one." I nodded in agreement.

"How did I get here?" I asked.

"Pretty applied question to ask. You just passed out last night after coming back in my house from that window. I wanted to ground you for the rest of your life in my mansion, but you were injured. So I brought you here" He answered.
