Chapter 2

Luke's POV

I woke up to the sound of people. I look up to see Bailey eating and watching TV and my grandma doing soduko or something like that.

"Goodmorning sleepyhead." Bailey says smiling.

"Hi.." I mumble

I get up to go pee and when I come out, Bailey is following me around like a dog. I put my shoes on to go out and smoke a cig.

"Are you okay?" Her soft voice spoke.

"Yea I'm fine." But really im not.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes.." I say dragging out the s

"O-okay."

I sit there smoking staring at her while she looks around taking in her surroundings.

"Sooo..." I trail off " When you leaving?"

"Me? Oh im leaving today. Going to my aunts and getting my hair cut and shit like that."

"Oh.." nice to know now.

"Yea but hey you can message me anytime while I'm there or at home. I dont have a problem with it." She explains.

"Yea I know." I don't really know

"Okay. Well im just saying."

She looks around a little more. Looks back at me, smiles and then walks away leaving me breathless. Fucking breathless.

And damn does she have a nice ass.

I walk inside to see she is on her phone. Does she have a boyfriend?

"Me and this girl broke up and now im getting back with her." I say out loud. "She said the reason she was breaking up with me is because of my brother Jack telling her that I was going to juvie."

"Does she say I love you?" I look up to see Bailey annoyed.

"Yea why?" I ask clearly confused

"Because," She starts "If she says I love you to you. You figured she would mean it. And if she means it, she wouldn't break up with you because you would go to juvie. If she was an understanding girlfriend she would stay with you and wait until you got out. AND she would stay faithful while you would be in there. So in my opinion it stupid for going back out with a bitch like her."

I thought for a bit before I said "Ur right. She doesn't deserve me." And I broke up with her.

If bailey was my girlfriend.

The day just feels like it drags on forever. Until Bailey has to leave and that breaks me

"Do you really have to go?" I ask her.

"Yea but if you want I'll be back Thursday and we can hang until Sunday. Does that sound okay?"

"Yea I guess. Can I message you while ur gone?" I ask

"Yea if you want. I don't mind."

Yes! I think. Finally I can get her to like me. Like, like like me.

"Okay. See you Thursday?"

"Yep! See you Thursday. Goodbye Luke."

"Goodbye."

Such a sad word that holds so many meanings behind it no matter how you say it, it breaks you. Like it broke us.
