The word ringed in my mind, I tired to get up but I felt a burning pain on my leg as I moved. How could I forget about the wound Dark Link get me- I asked myself and limped forward a bit.
I pulled up my dress (which was stained red at the ends) to expose my leg and saw the blood dripping off my kneel. I touched the wound, yelping because it stung as my fingers wrapped around the bloody wound.
I looked at my hands stained red and pressed them against my forehead, stay strong-- a voice spoke in my head.
I opened my eyes and ran, ran out of there as fast as I could. I couldn't stay there any longer, I looked forwards to the castle and started to ran faster.
Don't tell the hero of what you just saw or eveything you love with be gone, Dark Link's words echoed through my mind like a broken clock.
He sounded serious about it and I had no doubt he would easily do it. I was so in thought I didn't realize I was in the castle and bumped into Link.
My thoughts vanished as I bumped into him, he backed away a bit and looked at me "S-sorry!" I casually apologized.
"No, it's fine." He repiled with a smile and started to walk past me.
I grabbed his arm before he did and looked him as best as I could without breaking down into tears. "Dark Link..." I started.
Don't tell the hero of what you just saw or eveything you love with be gone, as I was about to tell him Dark Link's threat popped up in my mind.
"What about him?" Link asked and easily loosened the grip of my hands from him.
"Just wanna ask about him." I quickly said, hoping he wouldn't sense anything was wrong.
"N- Sure... just somewhere else." He responded and took a few steps towards me.
"In my room?" I suggested.
"Someone could overhear us, it would have to be outside the castle. Is that ok?"
I was about to say no. Why would I say yes? Look at all the crap that has happened whenever I leave the castle, that's how you know I'm stressed when I'm unlady like and I say crap.
But my lips formed the wrong words... yet somehow I felt like it was the right choice to said yes. Like because Link was there I would be protected from any harm.
I nodded and he smiled then went in his room and got his sword. We exited the castle and entered catle the alive and buzzing castle town.
All the cheerful and happy people scrambling around helped relax me a little.
I turned towards Link and jumped when I saw he was wearing a Keaton mask."So your not all serious, you still have your playful personality." I commented.
"Old habits die hard." He said simply.
I giggled then realized I was giggling and blushed. I looked away from him, still blushing like a tomato.
"Do you still have the one I got you when we were kids?" He asked resulting in me looking at him.
He took off the Keaton and flashed me a nervous smile "No nevermind that was actually a stupid question..." he ruffled his head a bit.
"No it wasn't, I do actually..." I told him honestly. And I did have it, it a box in my closet somewhere in my room.
His face lit up and he smiled wide, he looked down at the mask and then back at me. He grabbed my hand and lead me into Hyrule field, I stood in awe at the huge open area.
