Chapter 1

"I'VE TOLD YOU I WON'T GO BACK TO THAT COUNTRY ANYMORE" Jaelyn shouted as she slammed her book on the desk without batting an eye from her father.

She turned rebellious, her father thought.

"What do you mean by 'won't', my dear? You will. You WON'T disappoint me, I know you" Park Jaejun said with confidence while staring at his daughter. Jaelyn smirks, holding all her words to herself and nods.

"I used to. But I won't listen to you again". She turns away and walks out of that room, refusing to see his 'hopeful' eyes on hers.

"Just because he broke off the engagement, you turned this rebellious towards me, Park Jaelyn?" he asks before she twists the doorknob. The girl stopped and took a deep breath before letting her words out.

" Your dear sugar baby planned that. You defended her, blaming me for being weak and telling me that I'm nowhere near to being the successor of JP Corp. Also, you're using me to get what you want from your parents, am I right? That shows how superior I am since I'm close to the owner of the corporation. You are the one who is nowhere near the JP corp" she said and felt the satisfaction in her. Jaejun eyes flames and he throws that book on the floor, slamming his hand on the desk.

"She's my wife! And, I will get that corporation. No matter what, My J" he finishes his words and signals her to get out. She just nodded at him, not wanting to give another TMI about his future.

"No one will vote for you anyway," she said and walked out of the room. 

       Park Jaelyn, the granddaughter of Park Jungjin, the owner of JP Corp. It was one of the biggest companies in America, producing all types of vehicles. From motorbikes to cars, they ensure safety alongside the greatest quality. Jungjin has two sons, Jaejun and Jaejin. But only Jaejun fought his way to be the successor. Jaejin opened his own company, producing baked goods. He also remains a bachelor maybe forever, resulting in him spoiling Jaelyn. He knew Jaejun planned to have her just to ensure his place at the company.

He didn't know that his father preferred Jaelyn over him.

       Jaelyn has a brother, Park Jongseong. People like him because he's smart and handsome. It's not like Jaelyn is ugly and not smart. The whole Park family hates it when their girls are better than men.

And Jungjin thinks otherwise.

       Then she walks to Jungjin's room to vent her anger about getting out of her current country. Instead, she saw the evil witch arranging vases in the cabinet. She looked at the girl in disgust and smirked.

"Don't disturb my son there. You know that I love to see you suffering" the woman said as she reached the girl's hair, leaning to her face.

"JP is for my family. You touch it, you'll die". Jaelyn pushes her away, causing the woman to fall on the floor. Jaelyn didn't care and walked away from her, heading to her grandpa's office.

Now, she's meeting him in his room.

       Jaelyn knocks lightly on the door and enters the room. She smelled that same scent 18 years ago. He hasn't changed, not even a bit. He's still the same old Jungjin. Jaelyn thinks that he's still handsome over the years. He's the number one guy in her heart.

No one can change that.

"Pie, you finally did your everyday visit for today" Jungjin said while turning off his computer.

"Yes, Grandpa. I met and snapped at your son just now" she said while looking down.

"Again?" he asks and she nods. He reaches his hand to the girl and pats her arm, calming her down. He always did that and she hoped that it would forever be.
