Positive (Ace X Reader)

Too Early To Celebrate?

    You pick up the test and drop it as soon as you see the plus sign. You turn to Ace and begin to cry, you always wanted to have a baby with him. You pictured being a parent with him as a more put together situation but even now you are the happiest you've ever been. Ace realizes what your reaction means and pulls you close, tearing up as he smiles down at you.

   "Holy shit Y/N, fuck! I'm gonna be a dad!?" He half shouts as he squeezes you, you knew he was fond of little ones and it delighted you to see him so excited. You two stood there and held each other for a while before Ace let you go. "We should uh probably throw everything away and get home..." Ace says, sniffling and cupping your cheeks. You were anxious and excited for the drive home, you wanted to plan the future with him.

   As you two drive home you discuss what you guys wanna do while you're awaiting labor and whatnot. You and Ace decided that you'd be staying with him and his family and that they would flip the guest bedroom into a nursery. You questioned Ace and how his father would react to all this but he assured you that Edward would be thrilled to do whatever you asked.

  You were more than pleased to feel so loved and accepted, the Newgate family had treated you like nothing other than a part of them ever since you were little, now you would be adding to the family in a different way. Ace took a longer route home so you two had more time together.
