"Jeon YN, where the hell is your focus?" Mr Kim's voice brought you back, "I'm sorry Mr Kim," you apologized before concentrating back on the lecture.

"Where are you spacing out all day?" Jungkook was worried as he placed a hand on your forehead. "I'm not sick kookie, I just am not comfortable with Mom's wedding..." "But that's next week, isn't it?" Jimin wondered, "It is but now the date is nearing, I'm afraid she will abandon me just like before... I fear she will hate me all over again," You leaned onto Jungkook's shoulder. "Didn't you say Straykids are your step-brothers, I don't think they are bad. "It's just that both you and Chan Sunbae have an accent, and I was wondering whether you have been in Australia before," "Oh, no, we both were born in Australia.. Our mom is Australian." "Your mom? The game started between two such teams. Jimin and Jungkook were on the same team and seniors were keeping an eye on the players as well as the game was being recorded. The second team was aggressive from the beginning as they started committing fouls without being noticed. They had been continuing the fouls for some time and the coach, who is the referee was not paying any attention. One of them pushed Jimin for the third time and he lost balance and missed the shot which triggered you. His appeal too was dismissed, "That's a foul." You called out standing up making a lot of heads turn to you. "Buttercups what are you doing?" Felix tried to make you sit while a lot mocked you.

"You little kid, do you even know what basketball is?" One of the players called out, "You Big Kid, do you even know what fair play is?" "You think you know basketball?" "I know better than you," Coach interfered before a big fight broke out, "You are disturbing the game," He glared at you, "I wouldn't have disturbed if you had done your job properly," "Are you teaching me the game girl?" "Maybe I have to, if you're not refereeing properly," Some of the people from the crowd gasped at your words. Bangchan slowly walked up to you from the bench as a result of Minho's persuasion.

"Then why don't you do it?" Everyone widened their eyes at the challenge, "Sure," You were stopped by Bangchan but you had no intention to give in. "Princess, don't." you looked at him, "You're telling me that it was not a foul?" "No, but it's better if you don't go ag-" "Chickening out already, pathetic girls" The coach turned around with a scoff and you pushed past Chan.

"I'll show you proper refereeing." You walked up to him and he scoffed at you before stepping back. The game resumed and during the game a total of 6 players were fouled out and Jimin's team won by a margin of 17 points. The entire crowd went wild at your impeccable referee skills. "Sorry if I was rude, but I just can't stand unsportsmanlike." You bowed at the coach as you walked back to the stands.

The trials continued as you waited for Jimin and Jungkook to finish. "Do you play basketball?" Felix wondered, "Used to, n-" "Then you should try out for the high school team!" He perked up, "Oh I can't," Your face fell and Felix left it at it.

You walked back home with the two new basketball players of the high school. Yep, they made it to the team. "You were so cool back there"
"And how the coach lost his face. Damn, are you really the YN, we know?" "Oh, even I was nervous. But he was doing the worst job as a referee and I just couldn't stand how he didn't pay any attention to the fouls... Anyway, let's movie night?" You asked with hopeful eyes. "No, my mother wants me to be present at the "family dinner" tonight." Jungkook sighed as you reached for his hands. "It will be fine..." "Have you ever wondered how we, the four best friends all have messed up family dynamics?" Jimin wondered, "Maybe that's why we became best friends!"
