A year comes to its end. A year in Korea. Graduating from High school with your best friends whom you hold closer to your heart, your one and only savior Oppa and the ever-loving beloved boyfriends cum step brothers was indeed a beautiful moment, one to cherish forever.

The mighty trio joined the Department of Performing Arts, Wannabe Heartthrobs! The eldest two joined firms of their interests while Changbin and Hyunjin decided to utilise the privilege of being the seniors to the maximum. While the maknaes simply whined not wanting to study in the university since you decided to join somewhere else.

And where did you exactly go? Nowhere far, just a thirty-minute bus ride from home. But a different university, and atmosphere altogether, because you wanted to pursue your degree in English Language and Literature.

Apparently, you didn't tell the rest that you were applying to a different university, and let me show you how you broke the news to the rest.

A couple of Months Ago

"Yay!" Jimin sprang up from his seat as he saw his admission status as accepted, and soon joined the other two turning into a ritual kind of dance. "Let's check hers," Taehyung rushes back to the laptop and refreshes your tab, "She got accepted too," Jimin and Jungkook rushed to hug you but stopped hearing Taehyung, "To the department of English?" "No way, we don't have such a department, check again," Jungkook scrunches his nose, "It's not our university, it's ZYX University of Arts and Science," Taehyung finishes reading up the application and the three pairs of eyes turn to you.

"I can explain, I wanted to study English a-" "You can study whatever you want, but why didn't you tell us?" Jimin glares at you as you keep silent. "You're impossible, how could you think of joining another university, huh? How could you do this to us?" You scratch your nape in embarrassment not knowing how to reply.

"I just wanted to do this alone... You guys have always been there for me and I think I'm taking you for granted, I need a change, I need to be strong, and independent," "Baby you're strong, you're the strongest person we've ever met... And we don't mind you taking us for granted," Taehyung pulls you in for a hug.

"I can't always depend on you. Look at you three, you're all 18 and never even had a chance to date someone. You guys always stick to me and never leave me alone. And I think it is affecting your social life as well... This is your freshman year and you get to be a freshman once, enjoy it to your fullest. And didn't you want to make girls go crazy for you, the foundation should be laid in your first year,"

"Don't try to make it sound like you're helping us," Jungkook glares down and you nod. "I'm not trying to do anything. It is one of the reasons too. But I need a change of atmosphere, I can't go there anymore, it's suffocating," You mumble looking down at your lap. "Do whatever you want, never bother informing us," Jimin storms out and so does Jungkook. Taehyung stays back as he reaches out for your hands.

"Did something happen there?" You look up at him and stare into his eyes. He is hesitant, he wants to ask something yet he restricts himself. "Yes," A flash of worry and fear dashes across those beautiful orbs. But he didn't ask further, he didn't say anything, he sat next to you, in silence.

After the eventful confession, you still had one more obstacle to pass. That was none other than SKZ. Breaking out to them was much easier for you compared to your besties.

"Does that mean you won't be studying with us?" Felix asks with a pout and you slowly nod. "Why? How come? You will be alone there," Jisung joins Felix. "First of all, I want to study a course that your university doesn't offer. And I need a change. I've been in Korea for over a year and I know nothing about this country and don't even know much about the neighborhood. It will be a great opportunity, don't you think?" The question was aimed at the eldest two who both had an amused expression throughout the conversation.
