Little Mickey was deep in her world. Her Barbie named Alice refused to get in her Panzer saying "Beautiful women don't drive such things,". To discipline Alice, Mickey opted for the silent treatment. Thus she has been avoiding Alice, standing near Ken in her blue skirt and brown top. She drives her Panzer around destroying all the enemy forts and marching forward victoriously.

She looks behind her hearing the door open. "Mom!!!" The five-year-old runs to her mom and hugs her knees. "Oh, baby, Mom missed you!" "I missed you too!" She leads her mom to her fort as she shares everything that had happened before her mother came back. And that happy fragment remains in her, along with all the pain, in the little form offering an escape from reality sometimes...

The pain in your left hand made you open your eyes to the bright ceiling light. Adjusting to the glare you find yourself cannulated and in a hospital bed. The gaze lands on the person on the chair. "Tae?" He shoots his eyes and rushes to you. "Does it hurt somewhere? Are you in pain?" "My hand," you point to the cannula and he goes in search of a nurse.

"What happened? Why am I here?" Taehyung blinks and shakes his head. "Nothing, you weren't feeling well. So we brought you in for a check-up and you fell asleep," "Really? I don't remember tho. I left home alone this morning after that... Nope, can't seem to remember," You shrug. "You told us that you were not feeling well, so we brought you here. That's it," You nod convinced by his words and he holds up a glass of water near your mouth.

"So can we go now? I feel better," "We can after your psychiatry consult. Hyung is on his way," "Psychiatry consult? Why?" "Aniya, it's just a routine check-up. You haven't had one in nine months, since we came here," "Nine months? Very funny, it's been a couple of months only, Taehyung-ah," "What are you talking about?" "What are YOU talking about?"

He narrows his eyes at you but laughs, "You got me!" You raise an eyebrow at him in confusion. "Are you not lying?" "Why would I lie? It's only been two months dude, where's your head at?" "You just said you left home alone," "Yes I did, I usually leave alone. We meet at school, I live alone, remember?"

"You come to school with Straykids!" "Why would I walk with homeless kids? Did you hit your head somewhere Tae?" Taehyung takes your hand in his as he slowly asks. "Do you know your name?" "Of course I do, I'm Jeon YN," "Your dad, where is he?" "Yah, what are you playing at? He died," "Sorry but one more thing. Where is your mom?" "She is out of town I guess. Ahh, I miss her!" You pout and he frowns.

"You miss her? Why would you miss her?" "What is that supposed to mean? She is my mom?" "YN-ah, do you know why we came to Korea?" "Because we... We, umm, I don't remember," You blink as you try hard to remember. "Does it feel like you forgot?" "I guess I don't remember, but there isn't much to forget. I was with Mom in the States and we moved here a couple of months ago," You shrug and Taehyung nods as he walks out to call the doctor.

"It's psychogenic amnesia," The doctor turns to Wonwoo after asking you a couple of questions. "It's an aftereffect of her condition," He continues as you listen attentively, "I read her file and Dr Dan did give an outline about her when he referred her to me. She had suffered a lot and I'm pretty sure you are well aware of the toll it takes on her mental health." Wonwoo nods as he glances at you.

"Her brain gave birth to her condition as a way to cope with everything. Even though she has DID, her memory is not affected as she is well aware of everything she has gone through. And sometimes these memories are too much to handle and the stress too much to put up with. This amnesia is the new way the brain finds to relieve itself from stress. Psychogenic amnesia can last from a few days to years..." You look at Wonwoo in confusion and he softly smiles caressing your hair.

"How can we be sure that it's not another personality or anything?" Wonwoo wonders. "It's not, it looks like she has been under a lot of stress lately. And right now she looks like a confused 18-year-old, it's not another personality."

"She will be alright, won't she?" He turns to the doctor, "From her records, she is a fighter and I'm pretty sure she will find her way back. This is temporary, she will be back on track and kicking asses in a few days, won't you?" The doctor smiles at you and you return the smile without much thought.

"So, what's wrong with me?" You turn to Wonwoo as soon as you step out of the doctor's cabin. "Looks like you forgot something, nothing much," He ruffles your hair. "No, he said I have a condition. What condition is that?" "You're anemic. That's it, so you faint often that's it," "Oh," You nod convinced by him, and follow him to Taehyung waiting for you both.

"Where is Jimin and Jungkook?" You ask Taehyung playing with the seatbelt. "They left because they have exams today," "Exam? Don't we have exams too?" "We have, next week." "Hoo, I still have time to study, even though I don't remember what subjects am I taking," You laugh it off while the other two stay silent.

It was around dinner when Wonwoo said something. "Baby, someone's coming to see you, and trust Oppa, you know them, alright?" "You know, I don't forget people," You proudly replies, "Oppa knows that, but now you don't. You are going to think they are strangers but they are not," "Ah, this stupid amnesia, when will it be over?" You pout plopping down on the chair. "How do I know these people, again?" Wonwoo was about to answer when the bell rang.

Wonwoo leaves and comes back with a bunch of boys who do not look so happy. You smile at a couple of familiar faces, "Annyeonghasseyo sunbae," Wonwoo snaps his head to you as you bow. "You remember them?" "Of course, Oppa, Chan, Minho, and Changbin Sunbae are from the same campus. They are basketball players, I've seen them," You beam happily to the boys' surprise. "She is very...cheerful" Hyunjin finds it amusing.

"So you don't know me?" Seungmin asks from Minho's side and you shake your head softly. "I'm sorry but I can't seem to recall you. Yet I can say that you've got a beautiful smile," Seungmin smiles a bit surprised as he remembers Baby Mickey stating the same. "How do you know them, Oppa?" Wonwoo looks at Chan for a second and shrugs.

"Hey, I'm Felix," The sudden change in accent catches you off guard as a sudden rush of panic spreads through. You unconsciously take a step back as your face grows pale. Seeing the change in Felix's expression Wonwoo turns back to look at you.

"You alright?" Chan asks as he tries to walk closer but you flinch at his accent as you hurriedly back off. Memories flash across your mind in a blur, the scenes are filled with unfamiliar faces, all wearing a familiar evil smirk. Your eyes get teary as your legs grow weak. A forgotten pain clenches your body making you want to cry aloud and break free.

If it wasn't for Wonwoo's hands that reached out you would have collapsed to the ground. "It's alright, hey, look at me," He forces your chin to him and he wipes the tears away. "It's fine, you are safe. He won't hurt you," You nod and he caresses your hair with a soft smile.

"What happened, baby?" Wonwoo asks as he insists you on a seat. "I don't know, the accent sounded familiar," "It's Australian, of course you know how it sounds," Wonwoo tries to lighten the atmosphere. "No, I, I just, I got scared for no reason. I'm sorry guys," You smile at Felix and Chan who smile with a nod.

"Oh, stir-fried pork! You love it don't you?" You ask as you serve it to Jongin. "Wait, but how do I know that? You sure I have amnesia, Oppa?" You turn to Wonwoo who stares back in amusement. "You remember anything else? You recognize us?" Jisung asks and you shake your head. "Looks like I'm getting a hang of it. It's fun like a puzzle, I will make sure to find how I know you guys!" You grin at them and they can't help but smile along.

The medical information is not fully accurate also the chapter is kinda short, I'll make it up next time.
