Him:
I wanted to be the reason
she smiles
laughs
and gets shy
from time to time<_>
(Before they talk about their feelings)
Part of me felt frustrated.
I couldn't talk to her. To be fair, she is the one who keeps on running away from me.
Why, was my only thought.
Why was she running from me?
Why did my appearance make her run?
Why was it that she didn't want to be around me?
I knew she knew who I was. Maybe she didn't know that.
Back in high school we had only made brief contact and in all those times she seemed overall glad of my appearance so what happened to change that.
I had to talk to her today. I needed to.
She was the reason I had been avoiding any girl that made their move on me. She was the one that I thought of and I want something with her.
Even if we are just friends. I don't want to be her ex-crush from high school any longer.
That was child's play. We are no longer teenagers.
.
.I had finally arrived at campus, I took it to myself to park near her friend's car so no matter what she would do to run from me, the sight of my Audi A3 would be one that would make her realize that the run she had been on was only a temporary fixture.
Walking in to the building I fixed my hoodie, making sure that when I met her, I was as prepared as I wanted her to see me as.
"Heyy E!" Shouts Aiden who was approaching me with a rather wild smirk today more than ever.
"What is it man?"
"You know that girl, I told you about?" He asked quite eager to know if I had remembered. I barely ever did.
Aiden was much of a secretive player. He was always seen as the sweet guy cause he was always responsive to anyone who approached him, girls like that.
"The one from the party?" I ask quite clueless.
"Yeah, she told me that she'd like to go on a date with me this weekend." He whispered which I could say was weirder than normal.
Aiden only hid his crushes when he had someone around him that he was pursuing.
"But?"
"But you know I have Zarah on hold so I can't be seen with her. Dude what do I say to this chick? Cause in all honestly I like her but losing Zarah is another thing that is not in option." He says.
"You know I have little advice for you. I am also hooked to a rope that has no end, this girl keeps on running from me." I explain and he looks at me with little hope.
"I came to you in hopes that you would be my therapist and adviser not for to make you your unpaid therapist, your on your own." Aiden says ending the discussion and walking on.
People really think his sweet?
.
It has been 3 hours since I had arrived and had classes but the image of her was lost. I could not find her.
I even tried asking her friends where she was but they kept the lowest profile and kept on claiming that they had not seen her too.
That was actual lies. I knew she was here.
She was somewhere, even though I didn't know where. I would.
I walked up first flight of stairs ready to get my mind off thought of her.
I entered the silent room with thought of opening my phone to finish the multiple assignments that my lecturers had given me quite inconsiderate of my sleep schedules.
"Good afternoon." Says a soft voice behind me but I don't turn to face the person.
I needed to get my mind off of her, the fact that I was hearing her voice was rather amusing to my mind at this point.
I went in-between the different book shelves and searched for a sci-fi book.
"Sorry." Says the soft voice again.
Some part of me wanted to say something but I just turned to look at her.
She looked down while mumbling something to herself which only had me wondering.
It had been nerve wrecking but I did the one thing that I always did when she was around me.
I smiled at her.
