Kanae's face lit up with a joyful smile as she observed Ichigo collecting her belongings. Finally, the long-awaited moment had arrived for her to return home with Inumaki.
Ichigo closed the bag and placed it securely on his shoulder, then he turned his attention to Kanae. She was seated on the bed, holding Inumaki in her arms.
"Are you ready to go?" asked Ichigo. Kanae nodded, slowly standing up. She approached Ichigo and gently kissed his cheek. "Yes," she replied.
ichigo opened the door allowing kanae to go first before following suit. The three walked out to the hospital and to the car — which Isshin lent ichigo.
Ichigo opens door to the backseat for kanae, allowing her to get seated comfortably with Inumaki, he gently closed the door and place the bag in the passenger seat.
Yuzu's face lit up with a bright smile when Kanae and Ichigo entered the room, accompanied by Inumaki. "Oh, how wonderful it is to have you back!" Yuzu exclaimed with delight.
As they entered the living room, Karin greeted them with a warm smile. "Spending time with my favorite girls before we move is something I definitely wouldn't want to miss.." Kanae's lips curled into a delicate smile as she spoke.
With Isshin's assistance, ichigo was able to purchase a house in the neighborhood.
Kanae took a seat on the couch between Yuzu and Karin, and her gaze turned to Yuzu with a bright smile. "do you want to hold him?" Kanae asked
Yuzu smiles and nods as Kanae gently places Inumaki in her hand.
Yuzu gently cooed at her adorable nephew, "he's so cute, he looks just like ichigo." She returns Inumaki to Kanae, and then Kanae passes Inumaki to Karin.
Kanae observed as Karin struggled to suppress her smile but failed miserably. "he is cute." she said softly.
As Karin handed Inumaki back to Kanae, a knock resounded at the front door. Ichigo promptly rose to his feet and approached the door.
As he opened it, a familiar face greeted him. "rukia, it's been a while."
As Rukia approached, a warm smile curved on her lips, and Ichigo welcomed her inside. "Yes, I have decided to remain in the world of the living for a little while. How have you been lately?" She asked as he closed the door
They both entered the living room. "I've been holding up actually"
"There are two powerful spiritual pressures present in here — odd, one is almost as high as yours and the other right behind it." Rukia muttered
She cast a quick glance around and noticed a woman she didn't recognize — sensing the spiritual pressure from her and what she was holding.
Kanae's attention was instantly drawn to the sound of approaching footsteps. She looked up from Inumaki as Ichigo and a mysterious woman with dark hair came into view. "oh, hello" Kanae said with a smile
Rukia reciprocated the gesture. "hello."
Ichigo placed a hand on rukia's shoulder "Kanae, this is Rukia Kuchiki one of my best friends."
Kanae smiled "ah, you're the girl Kon always mentioned and the one ichigo mentioned in his story."
"I'm Kanae Jirou, Ichigo's ..." Kanae glanced at ichigo slightly confused "my girlfriend." Ichigo said with a smile
Rukia smiled "it's nice to meet you Jirou"
"Please call me Kanae"
Rukia nods and glanced at Kanae's hands "who's the little one?"
