Okay so I actually watched episode one of bleach today and realized it is super similar to this. Just note that before today I had never seen bleach nor have I heard a lot about it. I just knew it was really popular. I was not copying it and I'm going to make it so that this story is completely different except for the existence of reapers and hunting demons and stuff. Plus I didn't even really like bleach tbh.

Laura sat in the alley, dumbfounded. Was this girl really Death? It was obvious that some weird stuff was going on, and this girl had something to do with it. She must be really powerful. She was able to blow up the evil girl and heal Laura. Could Laura trust her? If she was Death, did that mean Laura was dead? The girl outstretched her hand to Laura. "Grab my hand. I want to take you somewhere." Laura nervously reached out and grabbed the girls hand. At that instant, the world around them changed.

Everything around them melted away into a garden of bright colors. Laura and the Death were standing in a field surrounded by trees. The bright sun illuminated everything around them. The green grass almost seemed to glow. Birds fluttered around in the cloudless sky. The air was warm. Laura caught a faint scent of honey. All of her troubles seemed to melt away. The girl looked up at Laura. "Follow me." She began to walk. A path of gray stones formed underneath her as she walked.

Laura walked behind Death sheepishly. It was completely silent except for the birds singing. The meadow seemed to stretch forever. As they walked, the area became more flowered. Eventually, there were flowers all around them. Laura began to have trouble paying attention to Death, but instead stared at the flowers as they walked. She was enthralled by the bright colors. She was surrounded by all sorts of reds, yellows, and violets.

Soon, they came across a wall of vines. Death stopped in her tracks. She touched one of the vines with her finger, then retracted it to show that a small drop of blood began to form on her finger. On closer inspection, Laura realized that the vines were covered in razor sharp spines. She focused her attention onto Death. She was drawing a circle on a clear spot on a vine with her blood. She drew another smaller circle inside. In the smaller, enclosed circle, she drew the Greek letter, pi. It glowed bright red, then the wall opened up to create a doorway. White light flooded out of it.

The light was so bright that it made the happy landscape look like it was nighttime. Death walked into the bright light, then disappeared. Laura knew what had happened. She had to be dead. This must be the light that she was supposed to walk into. Laura tried to put a hand in, but the vines snapped close, cutting her index finger and trapping her outside. Laura decided to try to do the circle thing that Death did.

Laura painstakingly drew a circle, then another circle inside. Then she drew the symbol pi. At first there was no reaction, then the circles and symbol glowed. The difference was that it glowed blue somehow, instead of red. The vines opened, revealing the light again. Laura walked into the light, preparing to see what was on the other side.
