"Just ask her out already Vin, the worst that'll happen is that she says no and I doubt she would," Chris rolls his eyes, growing tired of Vinny freaking out over you. "Trust me, I know my sister and she likes you too... I have no clue why but she does."
"But you're okay if I do? I won't get murdered in my sleep or anything if I do?" Vin asks cautiously, making the other guys laugh.
"You are both adults, I really can't stop you.  Just know you hurt her, I know where you sleep."
"Just ask her out over text before you chicken out again dumbass," Rick says, across from Vin in the lounge.
Vinny pulls out his phone from his pocket to do just that, rereading some of the messages from you with a smile.
"What if it's a mistake and I ruin our friendship over some stupid crush, we've become great friends," he asks, making everyone in the bus lounge groan.
"I am about to just take your fucking phone and do it myself," Justin says giving a look that lets Vin know that he is serious with his threat.
"Fine," Vinny groans and begins tying.
"There, it's sent... oh god, she answered and said yes, now what do I do?" Vinny asks, panicked.
"Told you she would, now go figure out where you're taking y//n," Chris says, rolling his eyes and making his way to his bunk, annoyed by all of this.
When he hears Vinny still talking about it he shoves his air pods in and plays music, that way he can ignore it.

Day of Date

You notice what time it is and decide that you should probably start getting ready for your date with Vinny.
You smile to yourself when you think about the date, thinking about his dark but inviting eyes and that goofy smile that makes you so happy to see.  About the fact that he can always make you smile every time you talk, even when you are having an awful day.  He has grown to mean a lot to you.
You spend extra time curling your hair so that it will lay nicely over your shoulders, and then start on your makeup.  You spend a lot more time on it that usual because you want it to look just right, hoping that you can impress Vinny with how you look tonight.
Going to your closet you struggle with deciding what to wear, not wanting to be overdressed but also not wanting to look under dressed either.  And you want to still look cute despite wearing something that will help keep you warm in the cold winter weather.  You settle on a nice black sweater that shows off a little bit of your chest but not too much, wanting to keep it classy.   You pair that with a nice pair of skinny jeans and figure you can wear your boots with it.
As you slip your boots on you hear a knock on your front door, you swear that your heart almost lept out of your chest, suddenly feeling anxious as you walk towards your door to open it, taking a deep breath before you do.
You can't help it but to smile when you notice how nervous Vinny looks as he stands there holding a vase of beautiful roses and lilies.
"Vin, thank you, you really shouldn't have," you say shyly as you let him into your house, so that he can warm up for a second.
"I wanted to, your brother said they were your favorites when I asked," he says, walking forward so that he can set the vase on your coffee table for you. "You look beautiful tonight by the way."
You blush at his kind compliment, muttering a thank you before you move so you can hug him, your head resting on his chest as you do.  Both of you linger in the embrace for a moment, not quite wanting to let eachother go yet.
He pulls away first, looking at you with a smile as he asks if you are ready to go.  You slip on your jacket before you both make your way outside to his car, him opening and closing the door for you.
As he gets into the car and starts driving the two of you make small talk, you hating how hard this conversation seems to be when the two of you have talked a lot before without there being any issues.
He pulls into the parking lot of a nice italian restaurant before turning to look at you, "You really do look beautiful tonight, thank you for agreeing to this.  I promise I have more planned than just dinner."  His eyes meet yours.
"Thank you for asking me, and you didn't have to go to all this trouble for me.  We could have stayed home and I would have been happy because I was spending it with you." You blush and look away as what you said hits you, feeling a little stupid for saying it out loud.
He gets out and offers you his hand as he helps you out of the car, dropping it as he leads you into the restaurant which honestly disappoints you a little bit.
After opening the door and giving the host his name the two of you are quickly escorted to your table.
"Thank you," you say as you give the host a small smile before he walks away from the two of you.
The two of you quietly look over your menu to decide what you want before placing and order with the waitress who comes to your table.
"So are you going to tell me what we are doing next as you said more is planned," you ask, your eyes meeting his gaze for a couple seconds before you look away anxiously.
"Hmm no, let me keep my secrets," he says with a small laugh.
"Please?" you ask cutely with a small pout on your face, making his smile grow even larger from across the table.
"I promise it's something fun, not your typical first date activity," He grins, leaning forward so that he can brush a stray curl behind your ear.
"I'd expect no less from you, being the fun loving person that you are," You say, taking a drink of your wine to hide the blush that is spreading across your cheeks.
Your waitress brings you both your food and you continue to talk as you eat.  Vinny telling you funny stories from the tour that they just finished until you both finish up.  He pays the bill and leads you to his car where you both take a seat again.
"Last chance to guess what is next because it's only a couple minute drive from here," Vinny teases you as he starts to drive.
"I suck at guessing things," you whine, pouting at him again.
"As cute as you pouting is, that is not going to get me to tell you," he says laughing as he glances over at you.
When he pulls into the parking lot of your destination your eyes grow wide and a huge smile spreads across your face as realization hits you.
"I take it that you approve of us going ice skating," he teases, unable to hide his smile from the pure joy that is written on your face.
"Yes! Thank you, thank you," you say as you practically skip along beside him like a child as you both get in line to enter and rent your skates.
Once you both have your skates you find a bench that you can sit on as you both put your skates on.
"Let me," Vinny says, kneeling in front of where you sit, lacing your skates up for you before he moves to do his own.  You smile as you watch him, nobody has ever laced your skates for you before.
"Thank you Vin, you are being really sweet tonight and just thank you," you say smiling at him as you both are finally ready to go out on the ice.
"Just don't tell anyone else, they'll expect me to start being nice to them too and I only am for you," he jokes with a grin.
You both make your way to the ice, you stepping out and gliding along with no problem with Vin at your side.  You glance over at him with a smile on your face but it quickly fades when you notice that he looks a little disappointed next to you, so you stop in your tracks.
"What's wrong?" you ask, panicking slightly that you must have done something wrong to upset him.
He glances at you, a very obvious fake smile on his face. "It's stupid, nothing that you need to worry about because it isn't important."
You give him a slight glare as you look at him.
"If it is bothering you then it is important, please tell me Vin.  I want you to enjoy tonight as much as I am," you say softly.
He rubs the back of his neck nervously, letting out a sigh as he avoids your gaze. "I was kind of hoping that you would struggle a bit so that I would have an excuse to hold your hand and help you around... but that clearly didn't work."
You laugh slightly as you move closer, holding your hand out to him in hopes that he will still take it, which he does.
"You didn't need an excuse, you could have just done it and I gladly would have let you.  Now come on," you say, dragging him to skate circles around the rink with you. "And thank you, this was the perfect date for me so far, I am having so much fun and you picked something that I love to do."
"I thought that it would be fun, I wanted us to do something different that would be memorable for us," he admits, the smile returning to both your faces.
The two of you continue to skate in circles, talking and laughing with each other as you both slowly move closer to one another side, your arms now brushing up against each other as you go. You skate for almost an hour before Vin suddenly falls, accidentally pulling you down with him.
Both of you stare at each other for a few seconds before  breaking out into laughter at the situation, probably looking like idiots to the other skaters but neither of you care.
Vin stands up first, reaching a hand out to help you back up.  When you wobble in the process his hands settle on your hips to help you steady yourself.
You glance up at him, accidentally making eye contact but neither of you look away this time, something has changed between the two of you but you aren't sure what.  Suddenly you feel closer than before, you hoping that he will kiss you, Vin hoping that if he does you will be okay with it.
He slowly leans down, so close to you that you can feel his warm breath on your lips but he stops, giving you the chance to turn away but you don't.  You wrap your arms around his neck and close the gap, leaving a shy and gentle kiss on his lips.  As you pull away he leans forward and catches your lips again, both of you moving against each other for a few seconds before pulling away.
Both of you stand there quietly, unsure what to say as the music plays around you in the background before you decide to break the silence.
"Do you maybe want to get out of the cold? We can go back to my house and I can make some hot cocoa and we watch a movie?" you offer, hoping that he will say yes.
"That sounds wonderful," he says smiling at you, leading you off the ice so that you can both turn your skates in, holding your hand the entire way.
Once back at your house you both settle next to each other on the couch with a blanket over the two of you.  His arm is wrapped around you as you rest your head on his shoulder, watching the movie that is on the screen, neither of you wanting the night to come to an end.
"So am I allowed to take you on more dates?" he questions, his thumb now rubbing soothing circles on your shoulder.
"Hmm... that'll cost you," you say giggling as you turn your head so that you can look at him easier.
"Oh yeah, and what is your price?" He teases back, amused at your sudden playfulness.
"More kisses," you say, glancing away shyly as you aren't completely sure what he will think about your condition.
"I suppose I can pay that price," he responds softly, reaching out to wrap his fingers around your chin so that he can make you look back at him.
When you do his lips find yours for the second time that night, more force behind it this time now that he knows that you want this as much as he does.  Your lips move in sync as you both move closer to each other, getting lost in the moment.
When he does finally pull away his eyes ghost over your face, taking in how you look at this moment in time.  Adoring the soft blush that is creeping up your cheeks, the shy smile that is playing on your lips, but most of all he loves the admiration he can see in your eyes as you watch him.
"Thank you for everything Vin, really, I appreciate all that you have done tonight," you say softly, wanting him to know how much you have enjoyed this.
"Thank you for going with me," he says just as gently as you did.
"Unfortunately I should probably let you leave, it is starting to snow and I want you to get home safe," you say sadly, not wanting him to leave but wanting him to be safe. "Let me know you made it home safe please?" you ask as he gets up off the couch.
"I promise I will, but before we go can I ask you something?  I really enjoy talking with you and spending time together. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks, turning to look at you with a nervous look on his face like he doesn't want to know your answer.
"Of course," you respond, smiling at him and getting up to give him one last hug as before he has to leave, both of you lingering in the touch and holding one another much closer than you did last time you hugged.
He gives you one last kiss on your forehead before making his way out in the snow to go home, waving at you as he backs out of your driveway and heads home.
Now... how do you tell Chris about this?
