~kai's pov~
i opened my eyes and attempted to move my legs. This time they moved but were in between something and i couldn't quite place it until i looked up realized me and the unknown voice had both fallen asleep beside eachother. Our legs were intertwined, one on top of the other. All my instincts were screaming to push away but i was so tired and weak i couldn't. i could feel my cheeks heating up like crazy and i snuggled closer to the warmth, wanting more and more of it and let sleep take me in once again.
i slowly opened my eyes expecting the sun to burn my eyes. I looked to my left. The boy i slept with was gone. I couldn't help wondering where he was. I cautiously tried to stand up. I fell. The boy came back in.
~jay's pov~
I woke up when the boy moved again. He looked so peaceful and sweet. I kissed his forehead and got up. The moon was still high. I sat in the sand and layed back, looking at the stars. They were shining bright tonight.
when i heard a thud from inside. I got back up and checked. The boy was collapsed on the floor. I picked him up from under his arms. He was still soft and quiet. I carried him out to the sand bridal style.
"do want to sit in the sand or...? stay in my lap?"
"um..." he said slowly, "i'll stay here"
"what's your name?" i asked.
He hesitated for a moment. "kai."
I smiled. Even his name was cute.
"im jay"
The boy looked down and thought for a moment. I was looking at the stars, checking kai every now and then. When i checked again he was staring at me. He immediately looked down, embarrassed. I smiled and let out a small laugh.

~kai's pov~
he came back in and picked me up easily. I started wondering if i was really that light? He carried me out the door and sat down with me in his lap. I was blushing and looked down hoping he wouldn't see. I looked back because he asked if i wanted to sit in the sand or stay in his lap.
I hesitated but managed to say, "um, i'll stay here."
his lap was too comfy to sit in sand instead.
"what's your name?" he asked smiling down at me. I hesitated again but said "kai" quietly.
"im jay" he said.
"jay" i thought. I like that name.
I looked up again and saw jay smiling to himself. His black hair was long almost to his shoulders. His eyes were a beautiful blackish-brown. his cheeks had a perfect blush on them.
jay looked at me while i was admiring his looks. He say anything or yell at me like my aunt and uncle would have. He just smiled and laughed a bit. My eyes widened, i looked down, and i started blushing like crazy, again.
~jays pov~
kai seemed so nervous and on edge. I held him tighter so he'd feel safer. I started wondering if he had past trama or something. He was so fragile it seemed if i let go he'd burst into tears and cry until i held him again. He was clinging to me like a koala.
I could feel his breathing on my arms, shaky and warm.
i changed kai's sitting position so he was facing me. His face was flushed with a sweet looking pink color. I pulled him in a bit, his face resting on my shoulder, close to my neck. His cheek felt warm as he fell back asleep. I knew he was asleep because his grip on my sides loosened and his breathing slowed to a steady pace.
I picked up kai from under his thighs as the sun started rising. We sat in the sand for about an hour and a half. I brought the small boy to the house and layed him down on my bed. I decided he should sleep there and I'd sleep on the wooden floor. I pulled the sheets up on kai and made sure the pillow was soft enough. I layed on the floor and closed my eyes as sleep came to fill my mind with dreams.
~kai's pov~
i felt jay pull me closer, his heartbeat slow and steady. My breathing was trembling so much. His heartbeat was the only thing keeping me calm. No one had ever held me this close to the point where i felt safe.
i started blushing again when jay took me under the arms and changed my way of sitting. He sat me back down facing him. A pretty smile grazed his lips as i looked down, my face getting hotter by the second. Jay pulled me closer from under my knees so my thighs were on either side of his waist. He gently layed my head on his bare shoulder. My heart was pounding out of my chest when he grabbed my waist and hugged me tight.
my lack of sleep pulled on my eyelids until i closed them. Jay's heartbeat calming me, calling to rest my body and dream. I fell into a deep, deep sleep. Almost nothing would be able to wake me up.
