Chapter 9

Melanie's p.o.v

That kiss was better than the first. There was so much electricity in that kiss. Joe is such an amazing person. How had I not fallen for him sooner? "Can I hold your hand?" He asked. "What ever you want." I said looking at him. He grabbed my hand and we locked fingers. His hands were 2x the size of mine making our hands fit together.

We walked all the way around the pond and make it to the beginning. We stood looking at each other. I put my hand on his jaw and pulled him in for another kiss. He kissed my neck and gave me a big hug. We held hands till we got in the truck and then we went back to my place.

We went to my bedroom. "Can I stay over tonight?" He asked. "I was gonna ask you if you would." I said smiling. We walked towards each other he put his hands around my waist. He put his mouth by my ear. I held my breath and listened to his voice. "You are so perfect, don't let anyone tell you otherwise." He said the. He kissed my cheek. " Joe." I said. "What?" He asked. " why did it take so long for this to happen?" I said. " I don't know, but I'm happy it's happening now." He said. "So am I." I said smiling.

He took off his shirt and I threw him some of his pj bottoms he had left here before. "Thank you." He said. " no problem." I said. I changed into one of his shirts and took off my makeup. We both climbed into my bed and cuddle up next to each other. We talked about how much we liked each other and laughed at how long neither of us had a clue that the other person liked us. We were both nearly asleep. One of my hands was in his hair and the other on his chest. " I had a very good day today." I said. "Me too." Joe said pulling me closer to himself.
