We were looking each other dead on. So many thought were running through my head. He is my best friend I can't kiss him. But it's a dare. He started to lean in a little, I did the Same. I watched him lick his lips very lightly. We were millimeters away from each other when we stopped moving.
I looked into his blue eyes and took in how beautiful they were. Then he closed his eyes and leaned it and I felt it. I felt the impact his warm soft lips had on mine. I felt the butterflies jump out of my stomach and fly all around. I felt my heart beat speed up. I felt my whole body relax but also tense up. We both pulled back, looking at each other. I forgot Zoe and Casper were there. I smiled a little as did Joe and I saw Zoe and Casper with their jaws dropped to the floor. The kiss was probably a little longer than it should have been but it was totally worth it.
Casper broke the silence by saying "well that was eventful" with his cheeky little laugh and grin. I did a little awkward laugh. I looked back at Joe and he was red as an apple. I grabbed his knee and asked him if he was alright and he said that he needed some water so he got up to go to the kitchen.

We both leaned in stopping a little bit away. I looked at her lips then her nose then we locked eyes. I closed mine and I touched her soft warm lips with mine. They tasted of strawberry Chapstick. Our lips fit together like a puzzle piece. It was amazing. I felt a spark, a firework. It just felt right. As we pulled back I just looked at her and smiled an awkward smile. I just had the best kiss of my life with a girl I have know forever. Why do it take so long for this to happen?
She grabbed my knee making me come back to reality. I went off to the kitchen to get some water because I was so hot and worked up. It probably didn't even feel the same for her. I had to keep reminding myself that nothing was going to happen with it. She didn't even feel the same way I did.

When Joe came back he was his old self again. Cracking jokes making faces and being the life of the party. We all sat on the sofa and watched Avatar. Joe and I shared a blanked and Zoe was fast asleep Casper was on the verge of falling asleep but Joe was cuddled up next to me wide awake. I hugged his chest and fell asleep to the sound of his heart beat.
