Quinn arrived at Cecily's apartment with a couple flowers in his hand. He was going to ask if she wanted to go to dinner with his family after his game and he really wanted her to say yes. He knocked on the door and waited. The door opened a second later and Cecily stood there smiling.
"Hi, Quinn."
"Hi, Cecily." He smiled back at the girl. They stood there awkwardly for a few seconds before Quinn motioned the flowers in her direction.
"Oh thank you." She says as she takes them. She steps out of the doorway and lets Quinn inside. She walks into the kitchen to place the flowers in a vase.
"So, I have a question..." Quinn mutters. Cecily nods.
"What's your question?" Cecily asks. Quinn looks around nervously before his eyes land on her.
"After we play the Devils, would you like to go to dinner with my family?" Quinn asks. Cecily smiles excitedly.
"Of course, I will!" Cecily exclaims. Quinn sighs in relief before he takes a step toward the girl. He wraps his arms around her torso and she giggles as she wraps her arms around his neck, returning the hug.
"I was so nervous to ask that." Quinn whispers. Cecily slightly rubs his back as he stays attached to her. She smiles as he hugs her tighter.
"You don't have a reason to be nervous about anything when you're with me." Cecily says to Quinn. He nods and pulls away from her.
"I can't wait for you to meet my mom." Quinn says with a smile on his face.
"I'm going to love Ellen." Cecily said with a smile.
A/N: sorry this took so long to come out. I didn't have any motivation but I promise I'll try to get more chapters out sooner. I do update regularly on my nhl one shots though! Cecily is a character in a few of those too!
