Yūsei appears later on in the story. He was an orphan when he was adopted by the Nishoji and Sōken became his older brother. He suffered from much abuse by the Nishoji family until, one day, he couldn't take it anymore and made a fugue. He was found by Naoyasu, who took him in and became his legal guardian. Things become complicated between Naoyasu and he after the return of Sōken, who had always been cold towards him and had abandoned him at the mercy of his family members.
