Cece's POV
Arika and I walked to Starbucks toting around her bags. I grabbed a table while Arika ordered the coffee and breakfast. I thought about Michael and if he was cheating on me. I know he loves me and would never do that to me. Or would he? Arika came back to the table and sat the breakfast down I grabbed my coffee and bagel and began eating. I wanted to talk to Arika but she looked so hurt.
"Where do you think Jasmin went?" Arika asked sipping her cold coffee.
"I don't know but I pray she's okay" I responded biting into my bagel.
I was going to ask Arika if she was okay but a light skinned Trey Songz walked in. He had hair slicked like the white boys used to back in the day, nice lips, perfect height and shape. I must of been staring too long because he waved at me. I waved awkwardly and turned back to Arika.
"How are you holding up?" I asked staring at her.
"I'm okay I just don't know if I can return to him" she said dropping her head.
I sighed and pulled out my phone and stared at it. I sighed and tapped it on the table when I saw no notifications. I felt someone staring at me so I looked up and saw the light skinned Trey Songz staring at me. He pointed to his mouth and mouthed the word smile while smiling. I dropped my head smiling.
"What are you smiling at?" Arika asked looking at me weird.
"Not what, who" I said picking my head back up.
"Excuse me ladies but allow me to introduce myself" the guy said walking up and standing in front of the table. "I'm Adrian" he said staring me in my eyes.
"I'm Arika, and this is my cousin Cierra or Cece" she said smiling.
"Well I couldn't help but notice that Miss. Cece was staring at me when I walked in. So what's up?" He asked taking a seat next to me.
"I'm sorry for staring you just look like...Trey Songz" I said admiring his beauty.Arika's POV
I didn't want to listen to Adrian and Cece conversation so I relocated to another table. I pulled my phone out and called Jasmin to check on her. Turns out she moved to the lower floor of the hotel and will be leaving for ATL later in the day. I just might take a flight back with her. Meanwhile my thoughts were stuck on J and whether or not he would actually hit me. I want to go back to him, but I refuse to have him think he controls me and will be getting over on me.
"What's going on?" Floated over my shoulder.
I didn't respond I just sat there and stared ahead.
"You don't hear me talking to you?" Kirko asked taking a seat in front of me.
"What do you want?" I asked dryly.
"I'm just checking on you. I walked in and you looked stressed, so I'm here to ease it" he said placing his hands on the table.
"What can you do for me besides cause more trouble?" I asked with a bit of sass.
"I can treat you how you should be treated and not like a rag doll tour nigga been treating you like" be said looking serious.
"You don't know anything about me and J relationship" I said tightlipped.
"No but I do know he ain't treating you right, if he was you wouldn't be sitting in a coffee shop with your luggage. You wouldn't be looking as stressed as you are, and you damn sure wouldn't have to fear me" he said standing up from the table. "When you ready to holler at a real nigga let me know" he said tossing a piece of paper on the table and walking away.
I grabbed the paper and looked at it. He left me his number and a winky face. I thought long and hard about what he said and tbs decisions I had to make.
