Chapter Twenty-Four

Cece POV

I sat stunned that Michael walked out on me. I placed my head in my hands and started shaking my legs. There was a knock at the door and I immediately jumped to get it. I pulled the door hoping it would be Michael, but it was Jasmin.
"What's wrong with you?" She asked placing her hand on my shoulder.
"Long story short" I said pulling her in and closing the door. "Me and Arika met Adrian Marcel today, he hugged me, Michael smelt his cologne questioned me about it and left" I said pulling out my phone.
"Oh really?" She said moving closer to me.
She kept twisting her head being weird then I heard her sniff.
"Are you smel...why are you smelling me?" I asked looking at her like she was crazy.
"Why aren't you smelling you?" She asked twisting her head and looking at me out the corner of her eyes.
"Dude I swear you're a freaking werido. Since you started standing in corners facing the wall you've creeped me out. Do you still do that?" I asked laughing a bit.
"Not at all. That's for crazy people" she replied marking Lottie from Princess and the Frog.
"What you come here for?" I asked laughing.
"Oh. I came to tell you that I'm staying and that I'll be a floor below you guys. I have business to handle here" she said standing from the couch.
"Oh alright I guess I'll be seeing you later then. Oh have you seen Arika?" I asked raising a brow.
"Yeah she's down in my room, she'll be staying with me" she said walking towards the door. "We'll be having dinner later if you want to join" she offered opening the door.
"Of course I'll join" I said standing in the door.
"Alright then I'll see you later" she said walking out.
"I hope your talking about seeing me later" Kirko said walking past smirking.
Jasmin looked at him and walked off the other way. I was confused for a minute and just let it slide. I closed the door and went back to the couch and sat waiting for Michael.

Arika's POV

I waited in me and Jas room for her to return.
"Took you long enough" I said when she walked through the door.
"I'm sorry I was talking to Cece. She said Michael smelt Adrian's cologne on her and walked out. Po' gal" she said closing the door and joining me on the couch.
"I guess we all going through it" I replied.
"What do you think of Kirko?" She asked changing the subject.
"He's a little cocky but I love his style. When he comes around I feel a different vibe. Why do you ask?" I asked with suspicion.
"I was just wondering. He's cute, and he's a good guy. You should give him a chance" she said staring at me.
I shrugged my shoulders and thought about me and him.

Jasmin POV

Time flew by and it was time for us to have dinner. What the girls don't know is that Trey and Kirko will be joining us. I got dressed in a white bodycon dress, gold accessories, and white and gold pumps. I curled my hair and placed a gold tone head piece on it. I grabbed my clutch and phone and walked out to the living room where Arika stood waiting. She had on a black mini dress with a lace back, red pumps, and her hair in a bun.
"You look cute" I said smiling.
"You do too. Trying to look like a goddess" she said laughing.
I popped my lips and headed towards the door. We walked over to the elevator and pressed the button to go up.
"Where are we going?" Arika asked confused.
"To get Cece" I replied stepping on as the doors opened.
"Oh yeah I forgot she was coming" Arika said checking herself out. The doors closed and we waited patiently for Cece floor. Once the doors opened we stepped out and walked to her door. I knocked on her door and she quickly opened it.
"I was starting to think y'all forgot about me" she said stepping out of the room.
She was dressed in a tight blue pencil skirt, a black bustier, a white blazer, and black bumps. Her hair was in a messy ponytail.
"Look at us!" Arika exclaimed.
"So where are we going to dinner?" Cece asked excited.
"You'll see when we get there" I said admiring the girls.
"Looking good baby girl" floated over my shoulders.
I turned around and August stood there smirking.
I sucked my teeth and walked away. I hope he follows me so his feelings will be hurt.
"I can't get a "thank you baby" or a hug from you?" He asked walking in front of me.
"Yeah. Thanks August now move out of the way, I got somewhere to be" I said shoving him to the side and proceeding pass him.
He grabbed me back by my arm. "Who you meeting tonight?" He asked with anger still gripping my arm.
"No one. Obviously I'm with the girls" I said trying to pull my arm free from his grip.
"Don't play with..." He started but was cut off.
"Everything good Jas?" Kirko asked walking by.
"Mind yo business nigga, she ain't got shit to do with you" August said letting my arm go.
Kirko chuckled and walked off towards the elevator and I followed behind him.
"Ladies" he said as he got on.
"Hello" Arika and Cece said in unison.
I'm ready for this night to be over already.
