Next up to be covered: Carmen's outfits while masquerading as someone else!
____________________________26. Disguise #1 - "The Duchess"
Ahhh the Duchess! When i said the Bavarian winter outfit was my fav non-red outfit of Carm's, I TOTALLY FORGOT TO INCLUDE THE DUCHESS DISGUISE IN MY TRAIN OF THOUGHT. I take it back - the duchess is my reigning fav!
In the Duke of Vermeer Caper, Carmen poses as "The Duchess," an elusive art thief, in order to trick VILE into inviting her to one of Countess Cleo's exclusive stolen art auctions.
The outfit itself consists of a fitted black women's pantsuit with a flowy white dress shirt layered underneath. The pants are a stiff formal set that end at the 3/4 length. The dress shirt has a deep v-neckline and very billowy sleeves. Carmen accessorizes this look with a black string choker, an eye patch, a sleek wide-brimmed black fedora, and, of course, a long platinum blonde wig with bangs, which covers her real hair.
Her shoes are interesting. Per the 4th screenshot i discovered that Carmen is wearing a set of indigo/purple closed toed flats with a matching ankle strap and translucent mesh socks. Carmen is wearing purple. Purple! I don't think she is ever shown wearing purple otherwise. Her color palette is (predictably) limited and mostly consists of red pieces, but it has some variety with neutral tones, whites + blacks/dark blues, denim blue, and some olive green + khaki. But i believe this the only other time she has ever sported a "vibrant" color, discounting her preferences for gold accents.
Additionally, she's carrying an industrial silver briefcase if you count that as an accessory.
Consensus; 8/10 - she is speaking fluent slay i fear
