Gina and Prophet had just finished getting their answers from the few members of staff on site of the hotel, and had gotten the grainy video clips from CCTV, when Beth and Mick approached.

Gina and Beth, standing ahead of Mick and Prophet, glanced back. They saw Mick trying to flirt and then lean his arm against the wall where Prophet had his back to, only for him to slip and lose his balance, falling into Prophet. They also saw the confused look on Jonathan's face as Mick did that.

Beth rolled her eyes, trying to keep unheard by the other two team members, "those two are hopeless..."

"Maybe they just need a little push?" Gina suggested, smirking as she overheard the cheesy pick up line Mick managed to mutter to Prophet.

"What kinda pick up line was that?" Beth muttered, holding back a laugh, "they definitely need help. Apparently Mick's smoother with ladies than men, and Jon, well, he's just plain awkward!"

"Guys, I just realized we've not given the keys back to the maid yet. I'll go do that now." Prophet approached the women, pointing in the direction the maid was.

Mick also approached, watching as Jonathan strolled away; he sighed, "I think I might need help..."

"No shit Sherlock," Beth grinned, "we didn't get that from the crappy pick up line you told him,"

"It was that bad?" Mick visibly cringed, even more so when both ladies nodded; he muttered, "fuck sake..."

"You're usually great at flirting, what's different?" Gina asked.

"I dunno... guess it's cause I genuinely like Jon..." he shrugged, then looked between Beth and Gina, "what do I do?"

Before anything else was said, Prophet returned; he smiled brightly between his team mates, suggesting, "shall we go back to HQ?"

Hearing the small sigh from Mick, Gina suggested, "how about once we've taken evidence back to Coop, we all go for a drink? Could use it and DNA will take a while to get results back."

Mick perked up, adding on with a smirk, "sounds like a great idea, could play a bit of pool and whoop your asses at it."

"Heh more like I whoop your ass, Rawson." Gina added on, turning to their other teammates,"How about it, you two? We go to the bar?"

"Yeah, could do," Beth and Prophet nodded, the 4 of them heading back to base.

Back at HQ, Cooper was sitting at his desk, shifting through papers as he held his phone against ear with his shoulder; he muttered responses to the receiver on the other end of the call, mind busy remembering where he put a certain case file. When he wasn't able to focus completely, he told them, "Evie, hold on... I'm going to put you on speaker..."

Cooper put his phone on his desk, pressing the speaker button, "Can you hear me?"

"Yeah, papa," Evie King-Cooper spoke brightly to her dad, being perfectly heard by her father, "As I was saying-"

Evie's conversation and Cooper's searching were put temporarily on hold as the rest of the team strolled into the room. Hearing Evie's voice, each of them greeted her and in return they got an even happier response. The only one not to was Mick.

"Rawson." She greeted him with a deadpan tone.

"Eh, you smell." Mick stuck his tongue out, despite her not being able to see him, a childish tone of voice.

Evie didn't even bat an eye, responding with, "It's your breath blowing back in your face, Rawson."

"Ooooohhh!" All, but Cooper, over exaggerated their reaction to Evie's comeback.

"Harsh.." Mick frowned, folding his arms, "No need for that..."

"I'll call you back when we're done, Evie. Don't forget, you're at mine for dinner this evening." Cooper took hold of his phone.

"I know, Papa, can't wait to see you! And tell Rawson, he's a butt!" Evie giddily responded as she hung up, "Love you all!"

Cooper raised an eyebrow, looking at Mick; the corners of his lips twitched into a small smile, "You heard the lady."

"I did..."

Gina cleared her throat, smirking as she tried to hide the laughter; she stepped forward with the evidence they all collected from the hotel, "We managed to get a few hits from that hotel, so it was a good lead. There's a few bits of DNA to be analysed in there. Blood and hair."

"Good, we can get those up to forensics to get that done." Cooper nodded, putting away his phone.

"Coop, we alright to go out for a bit since it takes a while anyway?" Mick asked.

"Go for it," Cooper waved a hand as he sat back at his desk, "Wanna look something up anyway."

"School project?" Mick smiled knowingly.

"Yeah, we're working on it tonight." Cooper went back to his research for his daughter, as the others stepped out of the room and headed to the nearest bar, but not before bagging and checking their evidence at the correct place.
