Adelaide's pov:
Abby and I were on our way into the daycare centre when Abby said "mummy, will you stay with me today." I was a bit confused but I finally realised what she meant. "Abbs I'll have to wait and see what the lady says." We arrived inside and were talking to the lady at the front desk.
"Hi, I'm here to drop of Abigail Blake." I
told the lady at the front desk. "Ahh yes Abigail Blake. Also you're welcome to stay with Abigail if you'd like too." Patricia said(the lady at the front desk)
"Oh yes, that works out perfectly. Thank you." I said.
Abby put her hands up so I could pick her up, it was obvious that she was nervous but all the people look like really nice people. I walked into the playarea with Abby in my arms, there is about 10 children and 5 parents in the room. "Mummy, I'm scared." Abby said. "Its alright Abbs because I'll be here the hole time." Abby was happy after I reassured her, she stuck her head in the crook of my neck.
We've been at the daycare for an hour and we'll be here for 2 more hours, Abby was having a blast, she even made a friend called Leila I couldn't see Leila's parents anywhere so I just let Leila play with Abby. "Mummy, can you read us a story." Abby asked. "Ofcourse I can, do you guys have a book with you." I asked them. Leila had pulled a book from behind her back, it was called goldilocks and the three Bears.
I was reading the book and Leila and Abby were both sat on my lap cuddled up to me, once we were halfway through the book I heard little snores, I looked down and saw Leila and Abby asleep, I kept reading the story even though they were asleep.
I heard a door close and a man, about 20-21 walked in, he has such pretty eyes and those pretty eyes met mine. He starts walking towards me, I was confused at first until he said "I see my daughter has made some friends." God his accent and voice. "Umm yeah, I better introduce myself, I'm Adelaide, Adelaide blake." I told him.
"I'm Reece, Reece walsh." He put his hand out to shake mine, but my hand couldn't reach his because I had both my hands around Leila and Abby.
Third person:
"It nice to meet you Reece, but I should probably take Abby home." Adelaide told Reece. Abby had woken up and started playing with some blocks, Leila was still asleep on Adelaide. "Um, yeah I should probably take Leila home too." Reece said.
"Wait, no. Don't wake her up, I can just walk her out to your car." Adelaide responded. "Yeah that would helpful, because Leila is always grumpy after she wakes up." Reece told Adelaide. Adelaide had stood up and said. " come one Abby, it's time to go." Abby ran up to her mum and clung onto her, and put her arms up for Adelaide to pick up. "Abbs I can't pick you up." Adelaide told Abby in a soft voice.
"If it's ok with you Adelaide I can carry Abby out until Leila's been put in the car." Reece suggested. "yes please, abbs Reece is gonna carry you. Is that ok?" Adelaide asked Abby, Abby nodded her head yes and walked over to Reece and stretched her arms up to him signalling for him to pick her up. Reece reached down and brought Abby up to his hip. Reece and Adelaide were walking out to Reece's car and once they got there Adelaide had put Leila in her carseat. Reece had Gaven Adelaide a sleepy Abby. "Crap." Adelaide muttered but Reece had heard her. "Is everything ok?" He asked her. "Yes, well no I forgot to call the uber driver." Adelaide told him.
"Well we're do you live, I can give you a ride home." Reece offered. "Are you sure?"
" yeah ofcourse."
" thank you thank you! You are a life saver." Adelaide told him. Reece and Adelaide had gotten in the car and Adelaide told Reece her address. "that's like two houses away from mine." Reece said.
"Well I guess that works out well then." Adelaide said. Reece had pulled up in Adelaides driveway, he got out to walk her to her door. Adelaide got Abby from the back seat and Reece and her started to walk to her door. "Again thank you for the ride, but I have a question." Adelaide said. " yeah it's no worries, and what's your question?" Reece asked. " if you're not busy tomorrow would you be able to take me to get a new car?" She asked.
" uhh, yeah I don't think I'm busy tomorrow so I can take you, what time?" Reece asked. " I can text you the details, but Ill need your number." She said. " are you sure you don't just want my number." Reece asked with a smirk on his face. Adelaide went red, and when I say red I mean like a tomato red. " nah I'm just playing around with you, my numbers **********" Reece told her. " thanks and I'll message you later, have a good night and again thank you." Adelaide said while closing the door. She had went to the window and watched Reece pull out of the driveway.
Adelaide couldn't stop thinking about Reece that night.

No worries. And yeah I think a play date would be nice, especially since Leila doesn't have much friends.
Abby doesn't really have friends either, so thanks and I'll see you tomorrow morning. 😊

I loved this chapter and the next one will be about getting the car and the playdate, I know it probably seems boring but when I read stories people usually jump right into relationships and they don't really show a backstory (no hate to any writers, everyones writing style is different) so If you want me to speed up the process I will if you like how it is just let me know and I'll take the suggestions into consideration.
