Already In Love

Ava walked slowly outside, eyeing the parking lot for her car, which the valet should be pulling around soon. She sighed, and stuck her hands in her pockets. The chilly wind blew her hair in front of her face, causing her to huff to blow the hair out of the way. Once she could see again, she noticed an unfamiliar car pull up in the car park, she watched as the door opened and someone stepped out. It was a man, he was on the tall side, dark brown hair and icy blue eyes, she couldn't help but stare. The man caught her gaze and smiled warmly, briefly taking away the cold Ava felt throughout her body. He walked towards her, and only when he drew closer, did she realize how cute he actually was. She felt butterflies in the pit of her stomach and an uncontrollable goofy grin on her face.

"Hey! I'm looking for a Mrs Sharon Goodwin?" He asked politely. Ava's smile only spread wider as she looked at him. "Oh, I'm sorry, i forgot to introduce myself, Connor Rhodes, I'm the new cardiothoracic fellow." He said. The statement sent chills down her spine, he'd be working with her!

"Uh yeah! Her office is on the fourth floor, third door down to the right." She said "And I'm Ava Bekker."

"Very nice to meet you Ava, where are you from if you don't mind me asking? I just noticed the accent.."

"Oh, I'm from South Africa." He smiled.

"Very nice. Looks like you work here too, so I guess I'll be seeing you around!" He said and walked inside. Once he was safely out of earshot Ava said to herself.

"I only just met the man and I'm already in love..." The valet brought around her car and she got in, the biggest smile on her face, she couldn't wait for work tomorrow.
